Working Together for the Sake of Kingdom Expansion

What is hard for some of us is that we get stuck in a stream, a camp, one mindset of the Kingdom. God is beginning to demand that we marry some of these anointings. God uses Chuck Pierce and I together to model the functioning of the apostolic and the prophetic together. It’s so obvious when we minister together that there are things Chuck can do that I cannot do. There are some things that I can do that he can’t do. However, when we function as an apostolic and prophetic team, things come to a “fullness” level and God can do whatever He wants. There’s no competition. There’s no posturing. We don’t care who’s doing what. We just do what God says, and the Lord uses us in profound ways. It often surprises us!

We should not be the exception. God is going to start doing this with apostolic and prophetic teams wherever Christians are willing to humble themselves and let the Holy Spirit move with them like this. You will see this all over the place. You will see ministry gifts functioning together. You will see different streams flowing together. People of all denominations are getting Spirit-filled. This is going to release a new dimension to the Kingdom.

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all…But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:3-7 and 11-13; NIV)

Give Him 15 Minutes in Prayer:

  • Rejoice and praise the Lord for the unity He is bringing. His prayers are being answered for the Church to be one, even as He and the Father and the Holy Spirit are one.
  • Contemplate what the world will see when they see all the streams loving each other and working together for the sake of the Kingdom.
  • Repent for any judgement you have had of other denominations. If you have looked down on them over theological differences, instead of interceding for them, you get to repent. Maybe you are the one with something missing!
  • Intercede for the Church, that we will accept and live in the fullness of the Word of God, eliminating nothing from it.
  • Declare, “Let faith arise in the Bride and let God’s enemies be scattered!”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we rejoice in You! You have been working hard to move the Body of Christ into a position in time when Your people would be able to be one. If we look back at history, You had a lot to do! We divided over doctrinal issues over and over and over again. Revealed truth and restoration of truth caused some to stop moving forward, and the splintering became seemingly impossible to heal. We have argued with one another. We have even hated one another and refused to fellowship together. Lord, if we all confess Jesus, there is no reason for this division! Disunity can stop the advancement of Your Kingdom! Let the Church accept one another and live in the fullness of Your Word, deleting nothing! What a beautiful and powerful picture we will be to those who are seeking God!

You have lately been restoring an understanding of the five-fold gifts and callings, given to equip the Church for the work of service. We have flocked together by gift, instead of looked for the parts we were missing. We love only those who are like us. God, forgive us! We will purposely embrace those who have different gifts. We will prefer them over our own and compliment them. We will make room for them.

Let faith arise in the Bride and let all of Your enemies be scattered! Jesus, our Christ, our Savior, may we worship and glorify You in all that we say and do. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The Church shall walk in unity, making room for each one’s gift, so the world might see Jesus in us.
