Give Him 15 Daily Prayer

Kingdom of God, Come!

The Lord’s prayer is a passage of scripture that most Christians know by heart. We say it by rote in most Sunday services. It is a comforting passage, if for no other reason than we know it so well.  However, this passage was written in the present imperative tense, which basically means it is written as a command! It changes everything when you read it like this and pray it like this!

“This is how you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Holy is Your name.  Kingdom of God, come! Will of God, be done! On earth as it is in heaven.’” (Matthew 6:9-10)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • So, you think you know the Lord’s Prayer? Go ahead and recite it as you know it. Now, recite it beginning as written above! Let it sink in!
  • Tell the Lord you want to align with His purpose for this scripture—His command to us is that we command His Kingdom to come into the earth! That we command His Will to be done in the earth, so that heaven and earth are aligned!
  • Command His Kingdom to come in every place you can think of where there is governmental authority. His Kingdom must come into that place of authority and when it does, at the command of His people, His voice in the earth, everything must change!

A prayer you can pray:

“In alignment with our King, we would dare pray the King’s prayer the King’s way today. We say to the Kingdom of Almighty God, “Come! And keep on coming! Come Kingdom of God. Come to every capital. Come to every state. Come to Washington, D. C. Come to our cities and schools and police departments. Ruling government of God, come! Come and rule over us in Jesus’ Name!” Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will take another look at this scripture, ask God for a revelation of it’s imperative nature, and then use it like a sword to see the Kingdom of God come all around us!

Loosed and Declared!

Yesterday, we bound some things. We forbid doctrines of demons and foreign gods to rule over this nation. But, Matthew 16:18-19 does not stop there.  We must put something in place to replace what we have stopped, forbidden and removed. So today, we will use those keys to establish Jesus as King over America and we will loose all of those things that go with His Kingship.

“This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell. Peter, I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19; VOICE)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Got those keys of authority in your hands again? Repent for not doing this sooner and for not using them more. Ask the Lord for fresh revelation on this concept if you are not sure about it.
  • Loose favor and grace on those the Lord would choose as the next governmental leaders over America that they might rule in righteousness and justice, which are the foundations of His throne. (See Psalm 89:14.)
  • See the enemy standing amongst all of his false-god manifestations and those he has given false human authority to. See the Ekklesia, the Church, rising with you and declaring as one voice, “We have no king, but Jesus and we will serve only Him!”

A prayer you can pray:

We declare in the Name of King Jesus the loosing of favor and great grace upon those who would rule us in righteousness, who would rule us in justice, who would stand on Your side King Jesus. We now make a declaration in the Name of our King, in the face of infidels, in the face of humanists and of those who declare that there is another god or many gods. In the Name of Jesus Christ, the Ekklesia arises and declares, “We have no king, but Jesus Christ! We will serve Him only!!”

Today’s decree:

We will have no other King but Jesus, and Him only will we serve!

Forbidden!

Jesus gave Peter the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven! But they weren’t just given to Peter at that time for that moment in time. They were given to the Church to use on earth until Jesus comes again! These are governmental keys, ruling and reigning keys, keys of authority! We must use them in intercession and believe that what we are asking in accordance with His Will will come to pass! Get ready to forbid a few things!

  • Remind yourself of who you are in Christ. See those keys of Matthew 16:18-19 in your hand and get ready to bind some things up today!
  • Think of the state of the nation and what you are seeing in the election news. Before we can loose some things, we must bind some things.
  • Binding means “forbidding”. Forbid the following to rule us as a nation: an anti-Christ government structure, unrighteousness, lying, corruption, injustice and doctrines of demons. Forbid them with the authority Christ has given you! Forbid other things the Lord shows you.

A prayer you can pray:

We today, as confident citizens in Your Kingdom, rise to accomplish Your Word, King Jesus. In accordance with Matthew 16:18-19 and in the Name of our King, Jesus Christ the Lord of Glory, we forbid an anti-Christ government to rule us! We forbid unrighteousness to rule us! We forbid liars to rule us! We forbid corruption to rule us! We forbid injustice to rule us! We rise today to take our seat with You, Lord, and forbid doctrines of demons to rule us in the Name of King Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

I will use the keys of authority Christ has given me together with the faith He has provided and forbid these evil things to rule America!

Prayer for the Teachers

“The quality of the teacher has a huge impact on how much students learn. One study found that ‘good teachers have an extraordinarily powerful impact on the future lives of their students. Symmetrically, the researchers show the lasting damage that poor teachers have on the lives of their students.’ Furthermore, students who get the best teachers learn a lot and students who get the worst teachers fall behind. This study found that teachers matter most in producing educational results; more than class size, the curriculum, or the amount of money spent per student.”1

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.” (James 3:17-18; TLB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray for every teacher you know and especially for the teacher(s) your child(ren) will have this school year, if you know who they will be.
  • Ask the Lord to give those teachers the wisdom of God, even if they do not know Him yet.
  • Pray that their skill to teach would be touched by the sovereign hand of God and that they teach with an anointing that gives each student exactly what they need. Believe for classroom miracles as the teachers instruct!
  • Pray that your child(ren) will be salt and light in the classroom and even bring a teacher or more to the Lord this school year.

A prayer you can pray:

“We bless our teachers in the name of the Lord and ask for divine health and Your abundant blessing on their families and finances and most of all that they would know and serve You! Holy Spirit, You are the ultimate Teacher, we invite You into our classrooms to lead students and teachers alike ‘into all truth.’ Father, we pray for every teacher with a true calling from You to be an educator. We cry out for a fresh anointing for our teachers – that they would be supernaturally empowered to achieve results far beyond their natural skills!”1 In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

We decree the exact right pairing of teachers with our Christian children, so that they may thrive!

Christian Education Options

One thing our government has a desire to completely control is the education of our nation’s children. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” The question is, “Who will educate your children and will that education draw them closer to God as they realize His divine destiny for their lives?” Or, “Will that education instill secular values and thought processes into them, so that they are overtaken by secular humanistic ideology and reject God?” Options are necessary for Christian families and the financial means to choose the right option for each child is needed, as well.

“God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom.” (Daniel 1:17; NLT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • We have interceded for the public school system. Pray today for every option to educate our children in Christian school and home school options.
  • Financial challenges often come with the decision to educate our children outside of the public school system. Ask the Lord to pour out financial blessing on the schools, the families and the teachers.
  • Pray a special grace on the parents who home school—a grace for wisdom, strategy, discipline, provision, and peace over their homes.

A prayer you can pray:

“Lord, we thank you for every private Christian school, college, preschool, and every godly home school in America. Thank you for the parents, teachers, and families who are hard at work educating the next generation in excellence and with a biblical worldview. We ask for a great financial blessing to come to each of these and pray that You would reward and bless them for their commitment and sacrifice: whether it’s a significantly smaller paycheck as a teacher in a Christian school, or paying tuition fees as a student, or the loss of income from the parent who stays home to teach. Many of our Christian schools and colleges face financial challenges and we ask for dramatic financial breakthroughs for each of them!”1 In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

We can educate our children any way the Lord directs and His provision will accompany His vision for our children’s education!

Young Artists

Our young Christians are captivated by beauty, art and movement like no other generation before. The world is being lived out in front of them in living color—filled with visual impact and sound. And, they were created for such a time as this! Many of them were created to express their artistic talents in ways that bring great glory to God! Help them! Support them! Teach them! Open doors for them! Trust God that He knows what He is doing. The best way to share our witness today is to play out the message of Christ’s love artistically in front of this lost and thirsty nation.

“I’ve filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him skill and know-how and expertise in every kind of craft to create designs and work in gold, silver, and bronze; to cut and set gemstones; to carve wood—he’s an all-around craftsman.” (Exodus 31:3-5; MSG)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Call for the rising up of the creative ones—the dancers, the artists, the musicians, actors, filmmakers and writers!
  • Ask the Lord to increase creativity in our children and youth. It is a media and entertainment-driven world today and skilled artists and artisans can penetrate a very dark world, capturing and shining forth His beauty and light and expressing His Glory!
  • Ask the Lord to raise up believing teachers, mentors and coaches in the area of the arts and entertainment that will help our children navigate this arena with safety and wisdom.

A prayer you can pray:

“Lord, may a new spirit of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship come upon the young. We pray for our young artists, dancers, musicians, actors, graphic designers, filmmakers, and writers. We bless their creativity in Jesus’ name and we ask that You would cause these gifts to flourish during this crucial time in their lives. Father, we are praying that You would do something extraordinary among our young artists and performers! Would You raise up Christians with a love for the arts who would invest in the next generation – both financially and also as coaches, professors and teachers.”1 In the name of Jesus, amen.

Today’s decree:

We decree that the Lord is raising up young people with extraordinary talent in the arts and media in order to shift these realms of influence in the nation!

Deep Love of Learning

The Lord’s wisdom and knowledge imparted to the believing children in our nation can make all the difference in the future of our nation. Children that first fear the Lord, gaining spiritual wisdom and knowledge, then gaining natural knowledge and skill will have an advantage anywhere the Lord decides to place them as He unfolds their destiny. We must think generationally when we think of transitioning this nation from where we are to where the Lord wants us to be. The secular humanists have done this well. Let’s believe for the reversal in our children’s days and pray for a love of learning in our young ones!

“Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.” (Proverbs 8:10-11; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray Proverbs 8:1-21 over all of our school children.
  • Ask the Lord to pour out a passion for learning on our children. Pray that they would also first desire to know the Lord and gain His wisdom and knowledge.
  • Pray that our nation’s Christian children would be life-long learners, so that they might be used by God to impact every realm of society.

A prayer you can pray:

“We pray for every student in our public, private, and home schools and we ask that You would pour out a love of learning and a hunger for knowledge and ignite their drive for academic success. Give them a deep desire to seek godly wisdom and its blessings. We ask that our students would treasure learning above silver or gold, as Your Word says; let them value their education and be so motivated that they would let nothing stand in their way of graduating! May they be lifelong learners who excel in their respective fields. We pray our classrooms would come alive with an excitement for learning, and that apathy, disinterest, discouragement, and all disruptions be removed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”1

Today’s decree:

Christian children will be well educated and thrust by the King into high realms of authority and influence in our nation!

True Identity

Our children—our personal offspring and the children of our communities and nation—are our greatest treasure next to Christ. We should all be protectors of these vulnerable ones. We should all be watchmen over their lives and futures. Our desire should be for them to be so secure that finding their destinies in God is easy! And, each and every one should be publicly acknowledged for the gifts that they are!

“God who made you has something to say to you; the God who formed you in the womb wants to help you. I will pour my Spirit into your descendants and my blessing on your children.” (Isaiah 44:2a and 3b; MSG)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for every child you can think of! Name them by name to the Lord. Proclaim that all of those you named “belong to the Lord!”
  • Acknowledge the gifts you see in the children you have just named. Ask the Lord to cause their destinies to be secured.
  • Ask the Lord to silence every voice against these children and their destinies!

A prayer you can pray:

“Thank you, Father, for Your promise to bless our children and that because of Your blessing they will find their true identity in belonging to You, their Father and Creator. We ask that You would touch them so powerfully that they would acknowledge publicly that they belong to You, ‘and another will write on his hand, ‘Belonging to the Lord.’’ (Isa 44:5) Please would You silence the negative voices telling these students they are worthless or unwanted. May each one encounter Your love in a supernatural way this year!”1

Today’s decree:

Our nation’s children are precious, loved, and have secure God-designed destinies!

Prayer Protection Over Our Students

When most of us were growing up, schools were a very safe environment for our little ones. Rarely did we have concerns about violence, except an occasional scuffle on the playground. Now, sadly, bullying has a new face – cyberbullying has led to children giving up. Also, terrorism has become a very real threat to our children from elementary school through college. We must not fear, but we must call on the Lord to protect them and their campuses.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91: 1-2; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray Psalm 91 over the school(s) your child(ren) attend or your local schools. If you are a home-school family, pray this over your home.
  • God did not turn over the airways to the enemy. Decree that God is Lord over the airways and cyberspace belongs to the Lord. Spiritually cut off cyberbullying to the students in your school(s).
  • Bind a spirit of death and terror over the schools. Seal off the entry ways. Cancel any plans of the enemy to cause harm.
  • Go to your schools and ask the principal or Secretary if you can walk the building and pray for the safety of the children. Walk in authority, but pray with discretion, so you will be welcomed back!

A prayer you can pray:

“For those shamed, threatened, and victimized by bullies or cyberbullies and living in fear, we speak Your peace, courage and protection over them and we break the power of intimidation and shame! For every student and teacher plagued by suicidal or homicidal thoughts, we bind the spirit of death and break its hold over our young people in Jesus’ name! We cancel all plans of the enemy to bring terror attacks, school shootings, bombings, knifings, or any other kind of violence.”1

Today’s decree:

I decree that these schools (name them) are safe under the shadow of the wings of the Most High God—safe and secure!

A “Back To School” Prayer

We are right in the middle of the season when most of our nation’s children head back to school. From preschoolers to college students, this is a critical time in their lives and one we want to commit to interceding for. The public education system in America has become more and more liberal every year. Our Christian children now face persecution in some schools where Christ is clearly not welcome. However, we can pray that this would be the year of revival in our nation’s schools!

“For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants; And they will spring up among the grass, like poplars by streams of water.” (Isaiah 44:3-4; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Our nation’s schools were once safe havens where subjects were taught right out of the Word of God. Repent identificationally for the nation’s rejection of God from the public school system.
  • Cry out to God for streams of refreshing, renewal and revival to run through the schools of America. Ask the Lord for our schools to be places where our children can thrive in safety and acceptance.
  • Pray for Christian students to be emboldened by the Holy Spirit to share their faith without fear or hesitation. Declare that revival will begin this year in the schools!

A prayer you can pray:

“Father, we thank you for this incredible promise that You will bring refreshing to the driest places! Where it has been spiritually dry, we ask for streams of the Holy Spirit, the Water of Life, to now pour through our schools and that this would cause our children to thrive and flourish, like poplar trees by the riverside. We ask for an unprecedented outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our schools. We pray that Christian students would be greatly empowered and emboldened to share the gospel, and courageous in their witness despite any opposition. May they see a demonstration of God’s power on their campuses and may Christians there truly be light and salt, in Jesus’ name.”1

Today’s decree:

Revival will rush like a river and overtake our nation’s schools!
