Turning the Battle at the Gate

“The Church has to get creative in watching and hearing. We have to be, because we must turn the battle at the gate. We’ve come through the gate, but the battle is raging every foot of the way. Someone recently said to me, ‘You know, you shouldn’t be talking about warfare.’ I said, ‘Listen, that’s an old thought pattern. It’s an old thing.’ I wrote a book back in 2000 called, ‘The Future War of the Church’. I’ve written one called, ‘God’s Unfolding Battle Plan.’ It was written at the same time as another book was written by another author saying we weren’t supposed to go to war. All I said then was, ‘Time will tell. One of them will endure the test of what’s going to happen.’ Well, here we are. In the next 2 ½ years you are going to be trained. Your hands are being trained for war—with the Word and power and to take the ruling headship of Satan off, which is ruling, even rising and moving forward.” (Chuck Pierce)1

Blessed be the Lord, my Rock, who trains my hands for battle and my fingers for warfare.” (Psalms 144:1; ISV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Choose to engage in the spiritual battle, lest the battle end up on your doorstep.
  • Say, “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock, who trains my hands for battle and my fingers for warfare.”
  • If possible, get one of the books Chuck mentions and read it.
  • Say, “In 2 ½ years, I will be well-trained in spiritual warfare.”
  • Declare, “In the next 2 ½ years, I will help train many others in this nation in spiritual warfare. I will train those new to the Kingdom. They will not suffer the losses I did, because they will know right away how to be victorious over the enemy.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, the battle for America is raging, but we will not be afraid. You are the one who trains our hands for war. You show us how to fight against the enemy and how to win those battles. It is not time to shrink back. It is time to pick up the Word of God, the sword of the Lord, and address the enemy head on. Give us scriptures. Show us when and how to use them. Stir up the prophetic in us. Help us to hear Your voice and speak Your words, and hit Your targets, until the enemy’s headship falls apart! Train us. Equip us. Make us fit for battle. In the next 2 ½ years, we will help train many others in this nation in spiritual warfare. We will train those new to the Kingdom. They will not suffer the losses we have in the past, because they will know right away how to be victorious over the enemy. In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name, amen.

Today’s decree:

The Ekklesia will turn the battle for America back at the gate!

Today is Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, but originated as a harvest festival. Thanksgiving has been celebrated nationally on and off since 1789, with a proclamation by George Washington. The celebration was intermittent until the presidency of Abraham Lincoln, when Thanksgiving became a federal holiday in 1863, during the American Civil War. Lincoln proclaimed a national day of “Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.”

The event that Americans commonly call the “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621.  This feast lasted three days and was attended by 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims.  The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating “thanksgivings”—days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as a military victory or the end of a drought. [Taken from Wikipedia. For more, go to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanksgiving_(United_States).]

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

As the colonists were used to having days set aside to pray and give thanks, today let us be mindful to give thanks. We have much to be grateful for: our health, our family, food on the table, a place to live, friendships, freedom of worship, and SO much more. May we all take time today and pause to give thanks for His bountiful blessings.

Challenge yourself to have an attitude of gratitude. Here are a few facts:

  • It improves your health
  • It builds strong relationships
  • It causes you to sleep better
  • Helps one deal with adversity
  • Helps with productivity
  • Causes happier memories
  • Even reduces depression
  • Gratitude makes you happier, giving people positive emotions

Here are some scriptures regarding thankfulness, all taken from the Passion Translation:

  • “And in the midst of everything, be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • “Everyone come meet His face with a thankful heart. Don’t hold back your praises; make Him great by your shouts of joy!” Psalm 95:2
  • “Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of His one body. And always be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

A prayer you can pray:

Heavenly Father, today I humble myself before you with a grateful heart. Thank you for your goodness and your faithfulness; even when I’m faithless, you remain faithful. Help me to see beyond myself, being Your hands and Your feet to help others. And may I always be grateful, knowing you care for me more than I could ever imagine. You alone hold my life in your hands. May my life bring glory to you – today and every day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Today’s decree:

I’m determined to look outside my world and be grateful for all He has done and is currently doing for me. Today I will be His hands and His feet, sharing the love of Christ to others.

Faith That Presses Through to See His Glory!

“Faith works in place and time. When we’re in the right place in time, faith moves. You will know when you are in the right place at the right time. We are then going to shift things forward. We are coming from one season, represented by the number eight, which signifies a gate. All seasons biblically are linked with gates. This last year we went through a gate. We encountered warfare on the other side. The warfare was stirred up because we went through the gate. We made it through. That’s the way you have to look at it. The Lord said to me, ‘The Glory is waiting at the gate.’ We must turn the battle back at the gate, so His Glory can be seen.” (Chuck Pierce)1

“Did I not promise you,” replied Jesus, “that if you believe, you shall see the glory of God?”” (John 11:40; WNT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Faith is a gift, but it can also grow. It is time for faith to increase in the Church. Shout, “Faith! Increase!”
  • Check your heart. Is there any fear in you? Ask God to reveal His perfect love for you, for love conquers all fear, and then faith can grow.
  • What gate are you standing at? Is it a gate of financial breakthrough? Do you need relationship breakthrough? Are you warring for health? Is it city-transformation you are after? If you look at what you are warring with, you will know what gate you are at. Say, “God is causing me to win this battle and I will break through at this gate!”
  • Glory is on the other side. Worship Him and invite His Glory to manifest at your gate.

A prayer you can pray:

Faith! Increase! God, increase my faith! Where my heart is fearful, reveal Your great love to me. Let Your love overturn any fear in me. Let faith, established on Your love, rise up! At this gate of (state the gate your warfare is manifesting), I will break through! I will break through, because He has set His love upon me! He means for me to advance His kingdom in the very area where the enemy is opposing me. God, let Your Glory fall in this place! I worship You, dear Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

Faith in the Ekklesia will cause His Glory to be seen at the gates in this land!

New Faith-filled Intercessory Movement

“God is calling forth a fresh intercessory movement. This movement that God is calling now unlocks and establishes the apostolic strength of the Church for the future. So, not only will the Church be led apostolically, it will cause the gaps in this land to be addressed. The Lord says we will be sent into gaps to stand and address places where there are deficiencies. We’ll address gaps where religion has trumped ‘Kingdom’. We will start addressing gaps where bloodshed has happened and it will not longer be able to rule. Racism will be addressed. We will heal the gap of wealth deficiencies and systemic poverty. ‘I say to you, you are moving in a new dimension.’ We must have a new dimension of faith rising up in us. There’s a new faith element. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of the Lord. In the place of intercession, we will hear His voice. He will tell us simple things. Even that simple thing raises our faith.” (Chuck Pierce)1

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 12:22; GNT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Consider the gaps in America – racism, wealth, poverty, Kingdom expansion, adoption as an option to abortion, political ideologies, and any others the Lord shows you.
  • Choose an area that strikes the cords of your heart. Commit to intercede in that gap.
  • Cry out to God for the faith to believe that gap can be healed in the U.S.
  • Ask God for scripture verses to pray.
  • Do you have the faith for God to download solutions to you? Are you one with a position to act and effect Kingdom change in your realm of influence? If so, ask for the finances and open doors to do so.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, our nation has serious gaps. As an intercessor, I stand in the gap today between what is and ought to be. You see the needs of the U.S., Lord. You know the answers. You can tell me how to pray. Teach me what I need to know in the natural and from Your Word. Show me how to pray. Give me scriptures that address the specific area you lay on my heart to intercede into. I want to be a healer of the breaches. Increase my faith to bring Kingdom answers into the earth. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

The faith of the intercessors will heal the “gaps” in our nation!

A Shift Fully Into “Kingdom”

“We are shifting from Church fully into Kingdom. It’s a new day. We cannot think Church. We have to think Kingdom. You will decree things you’ve never decreed before and exhibit some things you’ve never exhibited before. We are in a time that we have to overturn old cycles. We don’t have a choice. There are strongholds that the Lord says His people will be assigned to these next two years and three months. They will stand on the height of the hardest places and they will say, ‘You now will crumble under our feet.’ ‘You will now take a course that will change the course of this land. You have recovered a land, but now you are going to transform it,’ says the Lord.” (Chuck Pierce)1

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10; KJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • You must break religious complacency off of yourself. You can’t say, “We know that; we’ve done that.”
  • Consider yourself on a new assignment from the Lord. If you don’t know your current assignment, seek Him for it with a desperation until you know.
  • Ask God to change your prayer life. He says He will change your prayer life even overnight.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I believe we are in a new season of time. Old religious structures are passing away and new ones are being revealed. We can’t think we can do things in an old wineskin anymore. We could have this mixture for a while, but now, it is critical that we get moving to expand Your Kingdom, not build local churches. You have given us a specific timeframe of two years and three months from now. You have said there will be great opposition, but great harvest and Kingdom expansion. Clarify my role, Your vision for my life, Your assignment in this season. Shift my prayer life. Break complacency off of me! In this season where You are making all things new, don’t let me think that I know it all or I will be left behind! I repent – shift me! Restore and repair and transform our land – our cities, states and nations. In Jesus’ powerful name, amen.

Today’s decree:

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!

A Separation is Coming to America

“Times are really interesting right now. I go all over the world. Yet, I look at this nation and I can see what’s going on. There is an intensity ahead for us. We cannot get off-center. If we get off-center at all we will sink. Don’t look at the all the stuff you are about to go through. Look up! If you keep your eyes fixed on the Lord, you will make it through the difficult season ahead. Two years and three months from now, this is what’s ahead. Mark it. We are going to come through a swamp. We are going to have to shift our thinking. There will be a harvest. There is a separation that comes in a harvest. You will see one of the greatest separations in the nation over the next 2 years. It will be almost like a civil war. God will have to define the separation, so we fully understand it. It will cause His people who are filled with the Spirit to rise up as one.” (Chuck Pierce)1

And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, ‘Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.’” (Revelation 14:15; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Look up! Purposefully look at Jesus!
  • Mark your calendar with the two years and three months. Mark it! Don’t forget it!
  • Decide you don’t have time for petty separating issues with others in the Body of Christ. Determine to find a way to work with them.
  • Sharpen up your ability to reap the harvest. Memorize the scriptures. Be ready to operate in the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit – words of knowledge, healings, miracles, etc. Know how to lead others in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Be bold! The harvest is about to overtake us!

A prayer you can pray:

Jesus, I am fixing my eyes on You, author and finisher of the faith that is in me. I am listening to the prophets and I am marking my calendar for the season You have marked as significant. There will be two years and three months of time where the swamp will be messy, but the grace of God will be obvious. Ready my heart to work with those across the body of Christ. We must work together or we will not accomplish all You have destined for this season. There is a nation to establish and a harvest to reap. Prepare me. Teach me. Anoint me and send me. May all of Your gifts be activated in me, by faith. Use me anyway You want to. In Jesus’ transforming name, amen.

Today’s decree:

God will unite the Church in this season of separation in the nation, and the harvest is coming in!

It’s all about You, Lord. It’s all about You. You came and said it’s all about us, and You came and You did what You did. Now, we say, “It’s all for You.” There are thousands of people around the nation and around the world worshipping today. We make a canopy of worship across the nation today. We declare You are worthy. You say, “Give Me the glory and I’ll give you the nation.” We give You the glory!

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

Declaring Hebrews 11

In order to move forward, we must often remind ourselves of the things the Lord has done in the past. Altars were raised over places of victories, places God moved on behalf of His people, and over places of defeat, such as over Achan’s body after it was stoned. These places of remembrance were critical to the Israelites’ relationship with God. These kept alive His moves on their behalf. They could literally look back and see what He had done to save, deliver, and bring hope and life to their nation. While we don’t raise up literal altars of stone over places of remembrance today, we do have moments recorded in His Word that we can read out, thereby building up our faith in Him. Hebrews 11 is one such place. The words in that chapter serve as a place to remember the good things God has done for His people in the past, and a reminder that He will do those things again for the Church in our time.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.” (Hebrews 11:1-2; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Read Hebrews 11:32-40 out loud. Let God touch your heart, realizing that He is remembering, also, even as you are reading.
  • Declare and decree the things God has done in the past.
  • Declare and decree what He is doing now in our lifetime.
  • Intercede for people you know who are modern day Gideons, Samuels, Sampsons, Jehus and Deborahs.
  • Say, “Let faith arise in God’s people and may this nation be fully turned around!”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we thank you that we have stepped into Hebrews 11:32-40. You are raising up the Gideons, the Samuels, the Sampsons, the Jehus, and the Deborahs. You are raising up the prophets and apostles. You are raising them up to subdue kingdoms, administer justice, obtain promised blessings. You are using them to close the mouths of lions, to extinguish the power of the forging fire, and to escape the edge of the sword. Out of weakness, You are making them strong. You are making these unbeatable in battle and You are putting enemy forces to flight. We thank You that in this season women are getting their dead children back – You are ending abortion! And those who are hanging on the scales of justice over their voting on abortion will be removed from office and unable to vote that way any more in the future. Let faith arise in God’s people and may this nation be fully turned around! Amen.

Today’s decree:

What God has done for Israel, He will do for America!

Thoughts About the Midterms – Moving Forward

When Joshua led Israel into the conquest of their God-given land, Canaan, they began with a great, supernatural conquest at Jericho, one of Canaan’s most fortified cities. However, Israel was defeated in its next battle, one they would have won, had they listened to and obeyed God. But Joshua and his people didn’t give up. They regrouped, sought God’s help, and returned to the battle. And they won. Yes, I am disappointed by one aspect of the election outcome; however, I am greatly encouraged by the others. We are weaker in the House but much stronger in the Senate, where the most important cause of our day can still be accomplished: the shifting of the Supreme Court. In the meantime, we must and will continue to pray. Our prayers are making a huge difference and will continue to do so. Without question, we are seeing our nation turn around.

“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Take the whole army with you, and go up and attack Ai. For I have delivered into your hands the king of Ai, his people, his city and his land. You shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king, except that you may carry off their plunder and livestock for yourselves.” (Joshua 8:1b-2;a; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Time to regroup! Read Joshua 7 and 8, which outlines the defeat and victory over Ai. Note that God wanted to give them a second chance and the spoils were greater on the second try once they had aligned themselves in relationship to the Father!
  • Thank the Lord for election day victories that were won.
  • God loves faith! Declare, “God will give us the Supreme Court of the United States and judges as at the first!”

A prayer you can pray:

God, all of the honor and glory and worship go to You alone for the future of America. We will read Joshua 7 and 8 today and note the spiritual principles for turnaround. Your Church must repent, listen for Your directions, and root out and deal with any sin at the cross. Then, we must listen again, and follow Your instructions for intercession and action. We must work together for the good of our nation. We can’t move forward if Christians fight with one another and refuse to work together. Above all, we must move forward on our knees. We will get the most accomplished in prayer, intercession, and prophetic declaration of Your Words. Thank you for the victories already won! God will give us the Supreme Court of the United States and judges as at the first! Grace to America, Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

The United States of America is turning around!

Thoughts on the Midterms – The Senate

The gains in the Senate were unprecedented. I don’t believe any president’s party has ever done as well in his first mid-term election. Maintaining control of the Senate means liberals will not be able to further their agenda, nor reverse the positive accomplishments of President Trump’s first two years. True, there will be a stalemate which will slow progress, but we won’t lose ground. Also, the gains made in the Senate (Republicans went from a 51/49 majority to 54/46) were wins by very conservative, pro-life, pro-Trump agenda individuals. This means the votes of two moderate, pro-abortion Republican senators (Collins and Murkowski) can no longer stop pro-life laws and the appointment of pro-life Judges. There will still be enough Republicans without them. I have been stating for years that the most important shift needed in our government is in the unelected Judicial Branch. No other group has opened the gates for more evil into America. The Senate, however, not the House, approves Supreme Court Justices, Federal Judges, and District Judges. By maintaining control of the Senate–and actually increasing the number of pro-life individuals in it–the shift in our judicial system can continue. Again, two of the Republican Senators are pro-abortion. Before the election, having only 51 Republicans, these two individuals alone could stop any pro-life Justice or Judge appointed by President Trump. This is no longer the case–we have a majority without them. The most needed shift in American government can now continue uninterrupted.

“Let the name of the Lord be praised,  both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?” (Psalm 113:2-6; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • God has opened a window of mercy over the Senate. Read Psalm 113:2-6 (see above) out loud and let it lead you into praise and intercession for this window of time.
  • Pray for your state Senators, regardless of party. Find them here.
  • Ask God for more godly judges to be placed in the 135 open seats. Follow the openings and placements here.
  • Ask God for more openings on the U. S. Supreme Court.
  • Intercede for those God is preparing to sit on the Supreme Court.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, You have opened a window of mercy in the Senate. You have given us more time to seat the judges of the United States of America, which the Senate does. This is a critical window to establish righteousness, justice and truth. “Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever. Everywhere—from east to west—praise the name of the Lord. For the Lord is high above the nations; his glory is higher than the heavens. Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth.” (Psalm 113:2-6; NLT) You stoop to look down and note our actions. When we have received mercy, how will we steward it? Will we take it for granted, or worship You and get moving in prayer and encouragement of our Senators? We ask You to help our Senators find the qualified candidates to fill the 135 federal judicial seats that are currently open. We commit to pray for those open seats on benches located in our states. We intercede for the individuals You are preparing to sit on the U. S. Supreme Court. Open the way for them, our Lord, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

God’s chosen judges are going to fill the U.S. federal court seats, including future U.S. Supreme Court seats.
