Juneteenth 2020

[Will Ford, III, is a leader in the Body of Christ anointed to bring healing and reconciliation to this nation. We asked him to write today’s devotional as we feel this Juneteenth celebration is happening in a unique time in history. If you are not familiar with Juneteenth, you can read here about how it is “the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.”]

“This Juneteenth is fraught with many challenges in our nation. In a time when social distancing has revealed the social distance in our hearts, America is at a unique turning point many would refer to as a hinge of history. Juneteenth is the time when we reflect as a nation on when the slaves in Texas finally learned they were free. That happened  two  years after the slaves were freed by President Lincoln. It’s encouraging today to focus on the triumph of the gospel through a united remnant of Christians, Black and White, that became co-laborers for revival, justice and freedom in our land.

“Ahmaud Arbery was killed in Brunswick, Georgia, which became a catalyst of what sparked current racial tensions. About a year before this happened, I spoke at a church in the city of Brunswick, pastored by Jaimie Jackson. During worship, I saw a vision of three cords being woven together to form a wick. The wick caught on fire, and I heard the Lord say, “Out of Brunswick will come a burning wick of revival and justice.” I shared the word with the congregation, and the pastor said that Robert Stearns had released a similar word 20 years earlier. I toured the region and learned that this area in Georgia has a rich revival history. It is the place where John and Charles Wesley first came to America on a boat with the Moravians. The Moravians started modern missions through 100-year-long day and night prayer and worship. Some of those missionaries even sold themselves into slavery in order to preach the gospel to slaves. I walked through the woods where the Wesleys prayed and went to the church where they preached.

“Neighboring close by is Savannah, Georgia, where George Lisle (pronounced Lile), together with his disciple Andrew Bryan, planted the first and oldest African American church in America. Before Lisle moved from Virginia to Georgia, he heard the preaching of George Whitfield and got saved. Lisle became such a profound slave preacher that his master set him free to preach. Lisle was baptized by a white Baptist denomination, and eventually planted a missionary work that became a 4,000-member church in Jamaica. That made him the first ever missionary to leave American soil.  It’s amazing that all of this was birthed in the Brunswick Georgia area through the Moravian burning wick of prayer.

“It’s been said that “…there’s always been a rude awakening before a spiritual Great Awakening.” God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He has a plan that will bind us together with cords of love that cannot be broken.  I am confident that a united remnant in the church will once again arise to heal a divided nation. This Juneteenth, I’m encouraged because I believe greater freedom is coming to America. Let’s pray that a smoldering wick of revival would be fanned by God into a flame of awakening.”

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” (Psalm 85:6; ESV)

“I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:15-21; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Click here to learn about Juneteenth.
  • Intercede for the nation, especially those in the Church, to acknowledge and honor the contributions Black Americans have made throughout our history.
  • Pray the prayer that Jesus prayed in John 17:15-21 that we would be one, all people groups together, in Christ.
  • Ask the Lord to use the current sentiment of racial injustice to spark that wick of revival and justice in America.
  • Pray that a smoldering wick of revival would be fanned by God into a flame of a Great Awakening.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, America needs grace to get through this season. These times are difficult to navigate and we need to correct some things historically in order to move forward. We have not acknowledged many of the contributions that Black Americans have made that moved this nation forward and which advanced Your kingdom in the earth from these shores. We need to educate ourselves on the full and complete history of America. Let these tumultuous days be that spark to the wick that causes us to shift into revival and take another step forward toward establishing true and righteous justice.

Jesus, in John 17 You petitioned the Father to make us one—with You and with one another. We continue to cry out for that today. In fact, we can’t move forward unless You do. God help us, because we don’t know how to do this in the natural. We repent of any participation in racist words and actions that may have fed the beast that led us to this place in history. We need Your supernatural intervention in answer to our humble intercession. We need answers. We need change. We pray that a smoldering wick of revival would be fanned by the Holy Spirit into a flame of a Great Awakening in this land! God, revive us again! Amen.

Today’s decree:

Our current national pain of racial injustice will become a burning wick of revival and justice in America.

Crying Out for Change Springing From Injustice

I feel that the way the protests began, peacefully and with impassioned speeches, they could have made a positive difference in our nation. They could have brought positive change and I pray they still do. Many people, like myself, will still come alongside and help the grieving black community and the families directly affected. We will support anything that will move our nation to another point of stopping things like this. I also believe many mayors, city council members, and police chiefs will be moved to take another look at how violence and racism creeps into law enforcement.

We have made progress over the years in the ending of racism, and it is continuing and it will continue. However, the voice of the bitter and the voice of the angry and the voice of the Antifa-type of groups that want to change America have entered the mix. When the violence and the looting began to mix in with the peaceful protests, things changed. There are always evil people out there that try to take advantage of a situation. They did and they caused an injustice in the harming and looting and even killing of innocent people. There was a destroying of innocent peoples’ livelihoods. All of that is evil. Rather than unity, that creates a type of division. They have sadly succeeded to a point. What could have brought us together has now been used by those individuals and groups to try to separate us.

Most people, black or white or other races, are not racist and we should not judge each other by the actions of a few. I personally refuse to judge the hurting and the grieving by the actions of a few. I want to ask my black brothers and sisters to do the same. We can get through this. We will get through this. We can make this nation better out of these unjust situations.

“He has told you, O man, what is good—and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8; MEV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Intercede for an atmosphere of love, kindness, mercy, and unity to permeate this nation.
  • Intercede for the reformation of this nation.
  • Bind the wicked and evil strongman of division that seeks to use hatred and violence to divide us and stop God’s plans for America. We are meant to be a melting pot of many nations, tongues and tribes.
  • Say to that spirit, “You will not continue to rule America. You will be brought down. In the mighty name of Jesus, you will be brought down.”
  • Bless all the people of this nation. Bless them with love, justice, healing of their hearts, and emotions. Pray for physical, emotional, physical and spiritual needs to be met in Christ Jesus.
  • Say, “Heal us, Lord, and heal our nation.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, awaken the conscience of a nation. Baptize us in love and kindness and mercy. One toward another, everyone, may we find ourselves preferring one another. Let us give to the poor. Let us not just help them in their poverty, but help them out of their poverty.  Bring us together through a revival in a way that we can reach the lost, but also reform a nation.

We bind the strongman. We bind the spirit of hatred, evil, racism, and division, over our nation. We say, “You will not continue to rule America. You will be brought down. In the mighty name of Jesus, you will be brought down.”

Lord, I pray a blessing over all those that are hurting right now. I pray they would be comforted in this time. I pray for those that have lost businesses, livelihoods, through the violence and through the virus. Encourage them, comfort them, and turn things around for them. I pray for those that have experienced racism and been targeted senselessly in ways that were humiliating. Heal them, Jesus. Help them to be able to forgive and release those that have harmed them. Help them to do this based on truth, not feelings. May they be able to leave the pain with You. Grant them grace to do this in Jesus name. May we all find strength in this hour to remain strong in You. Heal us, Lord, and heal our nation. Amen.

Today’s decree:

May the righteous rise up and do justice, show kindness, and heal this land.

My Thoughts on Racism and Injustice

Our nation continues to be in a lot of trauma and turmoil. Just as we feel we are coming out on the other side of the coronavirus pandemic, we have experienced the racial unrest, violence and tragedy that has taken place. I want to talk to you from my heart about that for a bit. I have waited to say anything about the violence against George Floyd and the resulting circumstances for a couple of reasons. First, my only influence and ability to change anything in America is through prayer and to influence those following me to pray. I also waited because, typically, emotional responses do more harm than good. So, I usually try to wait until my, and others’, emotions settle. I have found that wisdom doesn’t flow from emotion. In fact, emotions get in the way of wisdom. Healing doesn’t flow out of emotions, especially where anger and violence are involved. Emotions were not given to guide our decision-making. In fact, I always counsel people to never make a life-decision (something large in its consequences) when you are emotional. We should wait until our emotions calm down.

Let’s talk about anger. James 1:19-20 in the NASB says, “Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.” Was I angry when I saw George Floyd murdered? I was angry. I am still angry. Did I grieve? Yes. Did I shed tears as I watched it? Yes. I was truly appalled. However, I waited to give my response because scripture wisely teaches us to do so.

Racism is evil. I hate all forms of racism. I love all people of all races. I have tried to demonstrate that over the years. I have spent countless hours trying to demonstrate that across this nation. I have shed countless tears visiting many places to pray and deal with the past sins of this nation. I have participated in services and ceremonies dealing with past racial sins against African Americans and Native American peoples, among others. I have prayed in places where there were slave entry ports and other places of racial atrocities. I have spent a lot of money and a lot of time and a bunch of emotional energy to change this. It has broken my heart to see people on all sides of this issue be treated without respect.

I loathe all forms of injustice. I believe this is the heart of God. He hates injustice, as well. He hates abortion and the racism associated with that. Don’t forget that Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist and last year Planned Parenthood killed over 675,000 black babies. I despise that. I will continue to speak out against that. I will continue to speak out against those who approve of it and fund it. I despise human trafficking and the injustice in that. I hate the injustice of poverty. I find any form of injustice despicable. I think all of us should. I pray against injustice and I pray all of you are praying against injustice as well. I continue to ask God to heal this land. Continue with me.

“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” (Isaiah 1:17; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Sit before the Lord and invite Him to do a heart check on you today. Is there anything in you that has engaged in racism or injustice? “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24; BSB)
  • Pour your heart out to the Lord about any national issues that you are concerned about. He cares and He will listen to everything you are feeling about it.
  • Let Him deal with any anger in you that is not righteous anger. Anger polarizes. It does not unite. Pray, “My anger does not achieve the righteousness of God. So, help me, Lord. Remove any unrighteous or purely emotional anger from me.”
  • Invite Him to still your heart, your mind, and your emotions, so that you can hear Him ever more clearly. For “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7; NKJV)
  • Ask Him for wisdom, for His wisdom is “first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” (James 3:17; ESV)

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we come to You now and we pray for the family that Mr. George Floyd left behind. Comfort them in their sorrow. We pray for the Black community that has had one more thing happen in this that has opened up past wounds to cause them pain and anger. I pray that their grief would turn into something good and not something violent. I pray against racism in this nation, wherever it comes from and regardless of to whom it goes.  It is a spirit. It’s a principality. It is a part of the kingdom of darkness that wants to steal, kill and destroy. Help us in this season to pull down this giant. Whether it’s against the Jew, the Black man, the Latino, the Asian or the White man, or anyone else, I pray against it. I pray that You help us through this season to dethrone tis spirit over this nation and elsewhere.

Give us wisdom to do that. Give us angelic help to do this. Send angels to deal with the anger that exists now. Let them bring Your peace. You have messenger angels to help people to hear and understand one another. Lord, give us voices that can address this issue. Let these voices carry compassion and express the desire to gain understanding. Bring us leaders that are able to bring healing and bring wisdom and strategy for change. I know You have these people ready, Lord. Bring them forward now. Give them favor and make their voices heard in the land. These are Your peacemakers. It is time for them to come forth in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s decree:

Let all racial injustice in America be loathed, and let this nation finally be made one.

Satan Cannot Stop This Move of God

[Today’s post is from my friend, Rick Ridings, from Jerusalem.]

“The prophets have been prophesying a great harvest of souls and some are saying, ‘Where is that harvest?’ That harvest is coming in across the earth. It is happening. It will spread to many other places. There is a beginning outpouring in many nations. 77, 000 Muslims came to the Lord in a church in Uganda last year. They have been seeing phenomenal miracles. God is working in that nation. COVID-19 is all around that nation, but there has not been one death to date in all of Uganda. I believe it is one of the forerunner nations that are building new models based on worship.

“I have been concerned that when the Great Harvest began the enemy would try to cut it off through extreme circumstances and challenges. As the Azusa Street revival was happening, World War I and the Spanish Flu broke out. Both of those were trying to stop what God was doing. What I had to come to believe, and we need to realize, is that the enemy cannot stop what God is doing. Rather, God wants to use us to stop what the devil is doing. There is a stirring to bring evil alliances in the earth to cut off the global move of God.

“I had a vision about the Lord beginning to spread out the train of His robe over the globe. As He did, there were certain evil thrones that were overthrown, but there was also something of His governmental Glory that was released. Then, I saw in the sky above Him, in huge letters, the word ‘restrained’. That means ‘to hold back; to control the actions or behavior of another to stop them from doing something; or to limit the growth or force of something’. So, I felt God was saying, ‘Right now, I am releasing the train of My robes, which represent governmental Glory. As I am releasing governmental Glory on My Body, then You will be able to restrain the enemy and to stop the war before it starts.

“Therefore, I believe we are to restrain the powers of anarchy, of anti-Christ, of the Red Dragon, and of any other force trying to stop His move of Glory and harvest. God will help us as the Body to receive this governmental authority from Him. It will cause us to lay aside all self-reliance, self-righteousness, or a sense that we know how to do this. We are to be in total dependence on Him. As we worship Him, He will begin to give us Kingdom solutions, new models, and new alliances. Do not just sit there and let the enemy do what he wants to do. We need to be filled with faith and hope, worship and proclamation, and we need to carry out His Will on the earth.”

“It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.” (Isaiah 6:1; NLT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • With the enemy coming in on many fronts, we must fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Worship and do that now.
  • Intercede for the great harvest of souls.
  • You don’t need to pray about everything going on. In fact, you might wear yourself out! Ask the Lord what front you are to be engaged in spiritual battle on.
  • First, ask God what He is doing in that area.
  • Second, ask Him to help you see or discern what the enemy is doing to stop God’s plans.
  • Gain specific instructions for intercession into that situation, both to route the enemy and to see God’s purposes established.
  • Call forth the manifestation of Kingdom models and solutions in that arena.
  • Ask Him if there is anything you need to be actively doing in addition to praying in that area.
  • Declare over your assignment, “Kingdom of God, come! Will of God, be done on earth as it is in heaven!”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, there is so much going on that it is hard not to feel overwhelmed and scattered in my prayers. Sometimes, I just get stuck and become unsure of what I should be prioritizing in intercession. Settle my heart today. I will worship Jesus, Your Son, and the lover of my soul in whom I shall find rest. Reveal to me if there is one area that You are calling me to specifically focus. Show me everything You want to do in that area. Help me to see and discern what Satan is attempting to do to thwart Your plans. Give me great faith to engage in that spiritual battle, so I can work with the prayers of other saints and with Your holy angels to stop the enemy in his tracks! Give me scripture. Give me songs. Teach my hands and mouth to war! Form decrees in my spirit man so I can speak forth the way forward in my arena of influence. Let the solutions of heaven come into the earth realm. Let new mindsets and models that are necessary for this era begin to form.

If there is something You would have me do to establish or reinforce this victory, show me, Lord. I want to completely fulfill Your assignment. I want to lay aside all self-reliance, self-righteousness, or a sense that I know how to do this. I want to be in total humility and dependence on You. Be glorified Great King of the universe! Be glorified beautiful Son. Be glorified Holy Spirit of the Living God. Fill me with faith and fire, passion and grace. Kingdom of God, come! Will of God, be done on earth as it is in heaven! All praise to You, King Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

Kingdom solutions and new Kingdom models are being created in this nation!

Worship Jesus and He Will Repel the Enemy at the Gate

[Patricia Ridings and her husband, Rick, established Succat Hallel, a 24-hour house of prayer, in Jerusalem. Listen to her wisdom on how worship enthrones the Lord and vanquishes the enemy.]

“Isaiah 28:17 in the NASB version says, ‘I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level; then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the secret place.’ Here in Jerusalem, we have been proclaiming this over and over during this time. In Isaiah 28:1, it says, ‘Woe to the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is at the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome with wine!’ I thought of the coronavirus. There is a proud boast in this virus whose name means ‘crown’, but the next verse says it is a fading flower. It goes on in verse 2 and 3, ‘Behold, the Lord has a strong and mighty agent; as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction, like a storm of mighty overflowing waters, He has cast it down to the earth with His hand. The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim is trodden under foot.’ I think the Lord is causing things to be revealed because of this virus which is threatening us. I believe the earth is vomiting out the filth and corruption that has been hidden. He’s uncovering secret places where wicked men have hidden their actions.

“Now, the true crown is revealed in verse 5 and 6, ‘In that day the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown and a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people; a spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, a strength to those who repel the onslaught at the gate.’ So, this is our hope. We are looking to the Lord Himself to be revealed as the beautiful King of Kings. The enemy has counterfeited the crown of the Lord with a coronavirus. We must not turn our gaze from the Lord and the beauty of His majesty. We must realize fully that He is the Spirit of Justice for those that sit in judgement and a strength for those of us that repel the onslaught at the gate. We must want to be His Voice in the earth. We must want to be those worshipers that are even seen in the streets. When we get out in the streets and worship, the Lord is anointing us with His peace. We can bring peace where there are protests. Worship is a key. It steals the power of the counterfeit away from the enemy.”

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.”’” (Matthew 4:10; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Worship Jesus!
  • Declare, “Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We worship Him in the beauty of His Majesty!”
  • Declare Isaiah 1:5-6, “We are in that day when the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown and a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people; a spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, a strength to those who repel the onslaught at the gate.”
  • War in the spiritual realm against the “demonic onslaught at the gate” of our nation. Spiritually war in your heavenly language if you have no words.
  • Worship Jesus!

A prayer you can pray:

[This is one of those days we are asking you to walk through the instructions in the “Give Him 15 minutes in prayer” section above. Make this as personal as you can.]

Today’s decree:

Jesus the Spirit of Justice is being revealed and will repel every evil onslaught at the gate.

Flag Day 2020

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Those few words say volumes to those of us who love America and the flag that represents this nation. We believe we are a nation established by God for His Divine purposes. The Pilgrims landed on these shores and covenanted the nation to God with these words, “…Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid.” Our flag is a physical representation of those words.

Every President since the day to honor the flag was established have made proclamations and speeches honoring this symbol of American freedom. Here are two comments:

President Woodrow Wilson on establishing Flag Day, June 14, 1916, “I need not remind you how much sentiment has been poured out in honor of the flag of the United States. Sometimes we have been charged with being a very sentimental people, fond of expressing in general rhetorical phrases principles not sufficiently defined in action, and I dare say there have been times of happy and careless ease in this country when all that it has been necessary to do for the honor of the flag was to put our sentiments into poetic expressions, into the words that for the time being satisfied our hearts. But this is not a day of sentiment. This is a day of purpose. [Our flag] is an eloquent symbol of the unity of our history… Apparently, this Nation is again and again and again to be tested, and always tested in the same way. The last supreme test this nation went through was the test of the Civil War. You know how deep that cut. You know what exigent issues of life were at issue in that struggle. You know how two great sections of this Union seemed to be moving in opposite directions, and for a long time it was questionable whether that flag represented any one united purpose in America… And you know how that ended. While it seemed a tune of terror, it has turned out a proof of the validity of our hope… As I see the winds lovingly unfold the beautiful lines of our great flag, I shall seem to see a hand pointing the way of duty no matter how hard, no matter how long, which we shall tread while we vindicate the glory and honor of the United States.”

And in 2007, President George W. Bush said, “The American flag represents freedom and has been an enduring symbol of our Nation’s ideals since the earliest days of our nation. Wherever it flies, we are reminded of America’s unity and the great cause of liberty and justice for all.”

I ask a question now as we ponder, as did Benjamin Franklin long ago, our symbol of national unity, “We have freedom in this republic today, but can we keep it?”

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Blessed are the people he has chosen as his own.” (Psalm 33:12; GWT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Intercede for this nation with great passion and conviction, asking the Lord to preserve our nation.
  • Pray into the current attempts to divide our people. Consider the seriousness of past conflicts, especially the Civil War, and how the Lord was faithful to sustain us.
  • Pray into the many threats against us and how the Lord has delivered us from them all. Flag Day began during World War I when global powers threatened to overtake us. God preserved us then and can preserve us now.
  • If you have a flag, hang it out today.
  • Here is a website with lots of ideas to help our children understand and honor the flag of the United States of America.

A prayer you can pray:

God, thank You for bringing our forefathers to the shores of America. I believe You established this nation to be a covenant nation with You and that our citizens are to be continuously reinforcing and reminding You of that covenant. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under You, God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Our nation is in great conflict today. It is not a battle between people groups and ideologies. It is a spiritual battle. The enemy does not like it that we are a nation in covenant with You. He has always sought to divide us and this is one more season of that. He is trying to rip us apart, but we don’t believe You will allow that to happen.

We want to be those that stand firm for a United States of America. Our flag is a symbol of that unity. You have preserved us through much. You have preserved us through wars, even a Civil War. You have preserved us through many seasons of internal strife. We have managed by Your grace to continue on through it all, and our flag continues to fly over us as a testimony to that fact. Forgive us our national sin and heal our land as we humble ourselves and pray for national unity and preservation again. We need a miracle, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

Honor the flag of the United States of America, our national symbol of freedom and unity.

Will You Embrace Hope and Peace?

“We need to have a renaissance of Hope in America. We have to make that happen. We have to get in the Spirit and find out how to be that. If we don’t do that now, people will become hopeless. They can go into depression, even suicide. It can become a deep rooted anger, which can turn inward or outward. Either way, it causes great destruction. Another thing we know is happening now is that there is anxiety on many people. They aren’t sure what’s going to happen, so it’s making them anxious. Anxiety can make it very hard to hear the Holy Spirit. It causes you to be internally divided. We are going to need to make a conscious decision to allow ourselves to walk in peace.” (Cindy Jacobs)

Jesus is our Prince of Peace. He did not just come to give us peace. He came to BE our peace. He is the Shalom of God. His peace is perfect. It is protective over our thoughts, our minds, and hearts. He is our protection against fear, doubt, and unbelief. If we can keep our minds stayed on Jesus, we can find that peace that passes all understanding. He will bring us through. This is a season, as there have been many in our lives. It will pass, but those without Jesus, especially, may not be able to see this. We need to go and speak to them. We need to take the time to minister the love of Christ to them. It is not a time to stay silent and leave others in their pain, anxiety, and fear. It is a time to purposefully love others in word and deed.

The Lord tells us in John 16:33 that we will have tribulation in life. However, if we will trust in Jesus, we can receive His peace. He overcame the world in His death and resurrection. He overcame death, hell, and the grave. We aren’t to be anxious about anything, but through prayer and supplication, He asks us to make our requests known to Him. Then, He can speak into those areas, remind you of His promises, and give You His peace. We are to cast all of our cares on Him because He cares for us. And, we are to live in peace with others. In Hebrews 12:14, He calls that holy and says that without this level of holiness we will not see the Lord. So, we have a choice today—peace or anxiety, peacemaker or fear-monger. Who will you be?

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” (Romans 15:13; AMP)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • The most powerful way to walk in peace is to worship. We need to spend a lot of time worshipping Jesus. Worship Him now.
  • Another way to maintain your peace is to speak the Word out loud over yourself, your family, your city, state and nation. Thank the Lord for His Word.
  • Remember, Jesus shares His thoughts and plans with us. He says, “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” (John 16:33; BSB)
  • Ask Him to remove any anxiety you may be feeling. Say over yourself, “I will be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I will let my requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6; NKJV)
  • Ask the Lord to exchange your anxiousness for His peace. He said, “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” (John 14:27; TPT)
  • Choose to be a peacemaker and declare, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9; ESV)

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I come to You now in worship. I seek Your glory, grace and peace. Jesus, You give me peace and You are my peace. You know the end from the beginning. I have entrusted my life to You and Your plans for me are not to allow harm to come to me, but to give me a hope and a future. I pray the same for my family members, my city, my state, and this nation. The turmoil and conflict is disturbing. Only You can bring lasting peace into the mix. I don’t know what needs to happen or even how to pray at times, but You always do.

Thank You for the depth of Your Word, which shows me Your nature, Your character, and how You deal with things like this. You said, “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” You tell me, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Me.” You promise, “I leave the gift of peace with you—My peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but My perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” Grant me courage. I want to be a peacemaker. I want to intercede in prayer and action and bring healing to this nation in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will be purveyors of the hope and peace of Jesus, our Christ!

Becoming Hope-Solutionists

[Well-known prophet James Goll shared the following with Mike and Cindy Jacobs recently. I wanted you to “hear” it.]

“A few nights ago, I was put into a state of alarm or a state of alert. I heard the voice of the Lord say to me, ‘The hordes of hell have been released.’ But, we are to be forewarned to be forearmed. We are to be made aware of the schemes of the enemy, grab hold of those schemes before they fully take place, and block them, so that they do not come to pass.

“Having said that, I have gone back and rehearsed about three to five years of the Words I have been releasing. Here is a part of what I have been saying over the last 3 to 5 years:

“1 – There would be open conflict of thrones, resulting in chaos and confusion. In that season, the enemy will overplay his hand. God will use the backdrop of darkness and God will have the final word. This ramification will be coming on many fronts, from ‘family’ all the way to ‘government’. I have been declaring that it will be an unprecedented time of sacred assemblies and public consecration. Out of need, there will be a movement of true unity where there will be citywide, state, and national gatherings to seek the face of the Lord. There will be more public rallies of repentance and prayer combined where the call then goes to, ‘Go, therefore….’ over the next three-plus years than in all of the previous years of Church history. This will be a time of cleansing of old hurts and old disappointments. We are having things manifest. Some things cannot truly be dealt with until they manifest. So, we are in a time where roots are bearing fruit and there’s manifestation. Ultimately, that works for good when the enemy overplays his hand.

“2 – It is the time of the great divide; the great polarity. However, God has a solution, because He is the Hope-Solutionist. He’s looking for prophets and prophetic people who will look downward from a position of being seated with Christ, while they reach upward and pull down the solutions into the earth. So, the Lord said, ‘I have a remedy for every problem. I want to see a culture of honor created in the Church where every voice matters.’ This is the only way the great divide will be healed. God has a healing tool: as ‘hope-solutionists’ that operate within the Church. Then, it can be exported from the Church to go into all seven cultural mountains for such a time as this.”

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. ” (John 17:20-21; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray Jesus’ prayer of unity to the Father.
  • Intercede for the Body of Christ to live in the unity only He can give us. This is a unity that heals. It mends broken hearts. It heals the family, the Body of Christ, and it heals communities. It even heals history.
  • Tell the Lord that you want to be one who is a unifier and peacemaker.
  • Desire to be a reconciler of men to one another and to God.
  • Declare over yourself that you are a hope-solutionist, even as He is a Hope-Solutionist. Ask Him to show you how to walk that out in your realm of influence.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I pray for those who will believe in You through the message of Jesus, that all of us may be one, Father, just as You are in Christ and He is in You. May we also be in You so that the world may believe that You have sent Jesus. This level of unity does not happen without determination to be in unity with You and with one another. It must be purposeful. If “the hordes of hell” have been unleashed, then unity is our only hope to withstand them. Where there is division, the enemy can run riot against us, against our families and churches and communities and this nation. In order to stop Satan’s plan, we have to operate in an opposite spirit. We must put on love for one another and make an obvious stand together with our brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of skin color, denominational background, age or any other divisive thing.

We want to be those who lead the Body of Christ into sacred assemblies, services of repentance and forgiveness, and public consecration. We want to be the healers of hearts and of bloodlines. We want to heal history by our acts of love for one another. Help us to walk in love and not fear when dark things manifest around us. We carry the antidote within. We are reconcilers of God to man. We are those who can bring a spirit of reconciliation to those who cannot see eye to eye right now. We want to be Your healing tool—hope-solutionists—even as You are a Hope-Solutionist, Jesus. Make it so. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will be hope-solutionists bringing unity into the chaos around us!

Watch for New Wineskin Models Coming Into Being

“Last year, the Lord was telling me that we were about to enter a new era. Well, that era is here. He said, ‘There’s something totally new coming and you can’t pour new wine into an old wineskin. You have to build new containers for the time.’ Then, He said, ‘I don’t want you to build with new Words. I want you to build new containers, even models that prophesy.’ For example, there are those, like Will Ford, that are building models that disarm racism. They’re gathering the Church of all races together and creating a model where people can see the actions of  the Church. It causes others to say, ‘Oh, that’s what we should do.’  This is like the Apostle, Paul, when he said, ‘Be imitators of me, even as I follow Christ.’

“I was with Che Ahn recently. He talked about being a second-generation Korean American. His father had immigrated to America as a Korean Presbyterian pastor, I believe. He grew up in America and fully considered himself an American. He had brown skin and was at times persecuted for that difference. Therefore, when he became a pastor, he decided to make his church look like heaven. So, he purposely hired people of every tongue and tribe and people and nation. They have all the different races working together as a Church out in California. They created a model for others to see. That’s the Kingdom of God. Reminded of that, I feel churches need to create models like this. Christian businesses need to create new models that prophesy heaven on earth.

“There is a great move of God happening where the whole church is coming together. The models are incredible. Online, the global church is coming together for hours to pray and to learn from one another. This has never happened before in history, where we can see all the countries and cultures together and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying around the world. Daniel Kolenda said, ‘Before, we could reach 150,000 in a stadium meeting, but online, we are reaching 6 million at a time.’ This is a new model of evangelism that’s come into the earth in this time, and there is an exponential harvest of souls occurring all of a sudden.” (Stacey Campbell)

“Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; waters will flow where there had been none.” (Isaiah 43:19; The VOICE)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Declare Isaiah 43:19 into the earth.
  • Call forth the new Kingdom-wineskin models we need in the earth now!
  • Decree that heaven is downloading new models that provide Kingdom answers to challenging earthly problems. We must have God’s solutions!
  • Declare, “God is raising up His reformers in the earth now, who will have His answers and prophesy through their development of His models for the world to see!”

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, cause us to watch closely now! You are preparing something new. It’s happening now. We are about to see it. You are preparing a way through the wilderness, even through desert places. You are showing how to move through places of desolation and bring life to those places, even where there is such dryness that it has become completely spiritually barren.

We call forth the new models the Church needs to expand Your Kingdom. We call forth the new models the nation needs to deal with economic stress, racial tensions, social justice issues, and governance. So many things have been uncovered in the last few months. We see hidden pain, pain from racism, the effects of lost jobs, businesses lost to anarchy, rioting, and looting. We see some individuals and organizations rising up to try to take over governing structures, instead of seeking solutions to systemic problems. We need new evangelistic and discipling structures, because only with born-again, changed hearts, can much of society change. We need Your solutions to manifest in the earth, Lord. We cry out for them. We desperately need them now! Raise up the Daniels and the Josephs, Will Fords, Che Ahns, and others that can lead us in grace-filled ways into the future. We need the on-purpose models to be developed now. We need the reformers who are advancing Kingdom answers and not earthly, humanistic answers. Prophesy in these models and show us how to navigate the future. Jesus, heal our land. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will now prophesy to the earth through new Kingdom-of-God wineskins!

Seeing Current Events From God’s Heavenly Perspective

“The Lord spoke some things to me right around the National Day of Prayer in 2019. He spoke to me about 2019 and into 2020 and beyond. He gave me a vision that helped me see from heaven’s perspective and from a place of discernment. We need to see what is the Lord doing, what is the enemy doing, and what is our role. In this vision, I saw the Lord at various locations in the U.S. I saw Him at the place of original covenant, along the East coast, down into Texas, up into the Heartland, over into California, and then up into the Pacific Northwest and back across to Washington, D.C.

“He said, ‘During a 5-year period of time, there will be historic movements that no one has expected to see. There will be historic exposures that no one has seen – historic exposures of corruption.’ When I say, ‘historic corruption’, I don’t just mean ‘people who are doing corrupt things’. That is going to happen. But, I am talking about evil schemes of the enemy. These are things deeply rooted in our nation that still need healing. Wherever the Holy Spirit went, it caused a shaking. It caused chaos and confusion. I even saw fires in the midst of this vision.

“I saw that in the midst of this, the gavel of justice would come down. Everything the enemy meant for harm – the corrupt structures, prejudice, racism, and other deep-rooted things – He will turn it to fulfill His Divine purposes. This isn’t just for the United States. This is about nations. He said, ‘Do not be surprised when you see more revealed, more shaking, more chaos, and more confusion. I am exposing it all from My perspective to deal with it and to bring cleansing and purity. I am bringing healing and wholeness in these areas. I have placed you in a five-year period of grace and awakening.’

“When we think ‘grace’, we think things are going to be peaceful and joyful in the midst of it. In reality, grace is flowing, because God is not causing this. These things are happening as evil is unleashed, but His Glory is being revealed as in Isaiah 60, ‘Arise, shine, for your light has come and the Glory of the Lord has risen on you.’ That Glory is increasing, therefore that darkness is being exposed. If we keep looking at that passage of scripture, we see that His Glory continues to increase. Deep darkness covers the earth and the people, but the Glory shall be seen on His people. Nations and kings will come to the brightness of His Glory.” (Rebecca Greenwood)

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (Isaiah 60:1-3; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • We must have a strategy for prayer and action from God’s perspective. Ask God to help you see strategically.
  • The Vision related above was given for the Body of Christ, highlighting specific places in the nation, so that we have understanding on how to pray. Think about your area. How is it being impacted by the enemy and by the Lord? How are you or other leaders showing you to pray right now over your area? How are you praying over the nation?
  • We are in a global reset to reap His harvest. Intercede against the effects of any recoiling of the enemy to strike again in different ways. Pray this will not stop the movement of the Church to get the harvest in, but rather that things boomerang back against the originating principalities.
  • Call for the Glory of the Lord to fill the whole earth!
  • Declare, “Full exposure! Full justice! Full dethroning of what these principalities have intended.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, thank You for showing the prophets what is happening from Your heavenly perspective. This is a good reminder and example for me, prompting me to seek You for Your perspective. There is no way to figure all of this out in the natural. It must be spiritually discerned. A plan for spiritual warfare must come from Your leading and not from my own earthly processing. Show me the area I live in. Let me see what You intend and how the enemy has come in to cause chaos and distraction. Show me how the enemy’s attacks are causing exposures. What is being exposed? What actions and intercession  must follow to minister to the harvest that the chaos reveals?

Show me how to pray for America. Show me how to intercede for the nations of the earth. You are revealing the sons of God. You are revealing the activities of the enemy, which cause Your Glory to shine in the earth, so that the darkness can no longer run and hide. I ask You for maximum Glory and maximum grace! Full exposure! Full justice! Full dethroning of what these principalities have intended. Let the fullness of the Glory of God fill the earth in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Today’s decree:

We say God’s Glory and His justice are coming down , so we can reap the greatest global harvest the world has ever seen!
