Giving HIm the Glory

It’s all about You, Lord. It’s all about You. You came and said it’s all about us, and You came and You did what You did. Now, we say, “It’s all for You.” There are thousands of people around the nation and around the world worshipping today. We make a canopy of worship across the nation today. We declare You are worthy. You say, “Give Me the glory and I’ll give you the nation.” We give You the glory!

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

Worship the Lord today. You can find excellent worship in our free Livestream replays here.

A prayer you can pray:

You are awesome and we give You the Glory! You are Son of Man and Son of God. You are worthy! You are worthy! We join the multitudes in worship around Your throne today. Holy God, You are worthy of all of our worship! We stand amazed at the depth of Your sacrifice for us. You gave Your all, Your life, for us! How could we not worship You! You say You are giving our nation back to us—the praying and worshipping Church. We respond with our worship and praise! To You, Jesus, goes all the glory! Amen.

Today’s decree:

We worship and glorify God over the nation today!

Declaring Hebrews 11

In order to move forward, we must often remind ourselves of the things the Lord has done in the past. Altars were raised over places of victories, places God moved on behalf of His people, and over places of defeat, such as over Achan’s body after it was stoned. These places of remembrance were critical to the Israelites’ relationship with God. These kept alive His moves on their behalf. They could literally look back and see what He had done to save, deliver, and bring hope and life to their nation. While we don’t raise up literal altars of stone over places of remembrance today, we do have moments recorded in His Word that we can read out, thereby building up our faith in Him. Hebrews 11 is one such place. The words in that chapter serve as a place to remember the good things God has done for His people in the past, and a reminder that He will do those things again for the Church in our time.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.” (Hebrews 11:1-2; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Read Hebrews 11:32-40 out loud. Let God touch your heart, realizing that He is remembering, also, even as you are reading.
  • Declare and decree the things God has done in the past.
  • Declare and decree what He is doing now in our lifetime.
  • Intercede for people you know who are modern day Gideons, Samuels, Sampsons, Jehus and Deborahs.
  • Say, “Let faith arise in God’s people and may this nation be fully turned around!”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we thank you that we have stepped into Hebrews 11:32-40. You are raising up the Gideons, the Samuels, the Sampsons, the Jehus, and the Deborahs. You are raising up the prophets and apostles. You are raising them up to subdue kingdoms, administer justice, obtain promised blessings. You are using them to close the mouths of lions, to extinguish the power of the forging fire, and to escape the edge of the sword. Out of weakness, You are making them strong. You are making these unbeatable in battle and You are putting enemy forces to flight. We thank You that in this season women are getting their dead children back – You are ending abortion! And those who are hanging on the scales of justice over their voting on abortion will be removed from office and unable to vote that way any more in the future. Let faith arise in God’s people and may this nation be fully turned around! Amen.

Today’s decree:

What God has done for Israel, He will do for America!

Thoughts About the Midterms – Moving Forward

When Joshua led Israel into the conquest of their God-given land, Canaan, they began with a great, supernatural conquest at Jericho, one of Canaan’s most fortified cities. However, Israel was defeated in its next battle, one they would have won, had they listened to and obeyed God. But Joshua and his people didn’t give up. They regrouped, sought God’s help, and returned to the battle. And they won. Yes, I am disappointed by one aspect of the election outcome; however, I am greatly encouraged by the others. We are weaker in the House but much stronger in the Senate, where the most important cause of our day can still be accomplished: the shifting of the Supreme Court. In the meantime, we must and will continue to pray. Our prayers are making a huge difference and will continue to do so. Without question, we are seeing our nation turn around.

“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Take the whole army with you, and go up and attack Ai. For I have delivered into your hands the king of Ai, his people, his city and his land. You shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king, except that you may carry off their plunder and livestock for yourselves.” (Joshua 8:1b-2;a; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Time to regroup! Read Joshua 7 and 8, which outlines the defeat and victory over Ai. Note that God wanted to give them a second chance and the spoils were greater on the second try once they had aligned themselves in relationship to the Father!
  • Thank the Lord for election day victories that were won.
  • God loves faith! Declare, “God will give us the Supreme Court of the United States and judges as at the first!”

A prayer you can pray:

God, all of the honor and glory and worship go to You alone for the future of America. We will read Joshua 7 and 8 today and note the spiritual principles for turnaround. Your Church must repent, listen for Your directions, and root out and deal with any sin at the cross. Then, we must listen again, and follow Your instructions for intercession and action. We must work together for the good of our nation. We can’t move forward if Christians fight with one another and refuse to work together. Above all, we must move forward on our knees. We will get the most accomplished in prayer, intercession, and prophetic declaration of Your Words. Thank you for the victories already won! God will give us the Supreme Court of the United States and judges as at the first! Grace to America, Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

The United States of America is turning around!

Thoughts on the Midterms – The Senate

The gains in the Senate were unprecedented. I don’t believe any president’s party has ever done as well in his first mid-term election. Maintaining control of the Senate means liberals will not be able to further their agenda, nor reverse the positive accomplishments of President Trump’s first two years. True, there will be a stalemate which will slow progress, but we won’t lose ground. Also, the gains made in the Senate (Republicans went from a 51/49 majority to 54/46) were wins by very conservative, pro-life, pro-Trump agenda individuals. This means the votes of two moderate, pro-abortion Republican senators (Collins and Murkowski) can no longer stop pro-life laws and the appointment of pro-life Judges. There will still be enough Republicans without them. I have been stating for years that the most important shift needed in our government is in the unelected Judicial Branch. No other group has opened the gates for more evil into America. The Senate, however, not the House, approves Supreme Court Justices, Federal Judges, and District Judges. By maintaining control of the Senate–and actually increasing the number of pro-life individuals in it–the shift in our judicial system can continue. Again, two of the Republican Senators are pro-abortion. Before the election, having only 51 Republicans, these two individuals alone could stop any pro-life Justice or Judge appointed by President Trump. This is no longer the case–we have a majority without them. The most needed shift in American government can now continue uninterrupted.

“Let the name of the Lord be praised,  both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?” (Psalm 113:2-6; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • God has opened a window of mercy over the Senate. Read Psalm 113:2-6 (see above) out loud and let it lead you into praise and intercession for this window of time.
  • Pray for your state Senators, regardless of party. Find them here.
  • Ask God for more godly judges to be placed in the 135 open seats. Follow the openings and placements here.
  • Ask God for more openings on the U. S. Supreme Court.
  • Intercede for those God is preparing to sit on the Supreme Court.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, You have opened a window of mercy in the Senate. You have given us more time to seat the judges of the United States of America, which the Senate does. This is a critical window to establish righteousness, justice and truth. “Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever. Everywhere—from east to west—praise the name of the Lord. For the Lord is high above the nations; his glory is higher than the heavens. Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth.” (Psalm 113:2-6; NLT) You stoop to look down and note our actions. When we have received mercy, how will we steward it? Will we take it for granted, or worship You and get moving in prayer and encouragement of our Senators? We ask You to help our Senators find the qualified candidates to fill the 135 federal judicial seats that are currently open. We commit to pray for those open seats on benches located in our states. We intercede for the individuals You are preparing to sit on the U. S. Supreme Court. Open the way for them, our Lord, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

God’s chosen judges are going to fill the U.S. federal court seats, including future U.S. Supreme Court seats.

Post-Election Thoughts – The House of Representatives

I have never been one to “spin” matters such as this. Those who have followed me for several years will recall that I’ve been very open and honest regarding past elections, even when that honesty meant an acknowledgement of emotional devastation and/or the predicting of dire consequences. I’ve never been comfortable attempting to ease the pain for believers with religious clichés (e.g. “God is in control,” or “God is sovereign,” both of which I’ve already heard regarding this election). I believe it is my responsibility to speak truth and always be completely honest in my responses. Having said this, I can say without hesitation that I am NOT in any way discouraged. I’m a little disappointed, yes; but not discouraged. Here’s why: Unlike many of my colleagues, I was not confident conservatives would keep the House of Representatives. Though I prayed passionately for this to occur, I simply had no word or assurance from the Lord they would do so. Therefore, I was neither devastated nor surprised when conservatives lost. Also, the losses in the House were much fewer than predicted, and much fewer than almost any other president’s party has experienced in his first mid-term election. Conservatives didn’t do all that poorly.

Now may God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace as you believe, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13; ISV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Recommit your trust of this nation to the Lord today.
  • Thank the Lord for the godly leaders that did win!
  • Commit to pray for your elected officials regardless of the party they represent. Find your Representative here .
  • Google your newly elected officials that have not yet gone to Washington, D.C. Begin praying for them now.
  • Google your state and local government leaders. You can go and meet them. Get to know them and let them know you are praying for them. Don’t be afraid!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we choose to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. You care more about this nation than we do. You desire America to have God-fearing leaders and to be led with righteousness, justice and peace. However, Your commitment to free will gives us leaders across the political spectrum. Our position should be one of love and faith, praying in accordance with Your will for each and every one of these leaders that represent us. May Believers everywhere stir up hope and faith, look up their leaders’ contact information, communicate with them, bless them and intercede for them. We do all this so we may live and raise our children in peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

Election results don’t change the fact that this nation belongs to the Lord!

Report on “Giants Will Fall” – Part 5

On Saturday morning in Chattanooga, the presence of the Lord came into the meeting in a profound way. It was both tender and strong. Holy Spirit reminded us of the mercy He offered America in the 2016 elections and we pressed into this mercy once again. We felt the Lord’s strong embrace and His great love for our nation. From this place of strength, we made powerful decrees over America and against the spiritual giants that have ruled us. It is often impossible to adequately communicate what occurs spiritually in a conference such as this. Some “atmospheres” simply must be experienced. But I will say that this gathering reached an epic point in prayer and intercession for America. I am rejoicing and grateful beyond words. Please be in prayer with us as we determine the next step for the Appeal to Heaven gatherings.

For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Sit quietly before the Lord. Put on quiet worship, if you like, but don’t sing. Just sit in His Presence. Let Him tell You about His mercy.
  • Ask Him about His love for America.
  • Ask Him to teach you about His mercy toward America.
  • After You have heard His heart, stand up and make the decrees over America that He lays on your heart.
  • We humbly ask for your intercession as we listen carefully to the Lord for the next steps for the Appeal to Heaven Movement. Thank you!

A prayer you can pray:

(Please follow the points above and enjoy time in His presence today. He is the best one to teach us all how to pray for America.)

Today’s decree:

Mercy will triumph over judgment in America!

A Report on “Giants Will Fall” – Part 4

There was also a great emphasis on the Millennials and Generation Z (those born in 1995 or later). We heard first-hand testimonies from several teenagers who were in DC praying during the Kavanaugh hearings. Our host church had planned the trip for a year, not knowing they would be taking the 70 teenagers to the Capital at such a strategic time! The Lord used them tremendously while in D.C., and in the conference, they led us in powerful prayer for the healing and restoration of our nation. It was a very moving session.

We will not hide (these truths) from our children. We will tell the next generation about the LORD’s power and great deeds and the miraculous things he has done.” (Psalm 78:4; GWT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Shout and clap and thank God for our young adults and teens who love Him and have a passion to intercede for this nation.
  • Ask the Lord to raise up more and more young intercessors.
  • Repent for thinking that all young people are self-centered and self-focused.
  • Find a prayer room       where the young lead the worship. Go sit in the service and soak it up. Intercede for the intercessors and worshippers.
  • If you are a pastor, host a night of worship and intercession led by the young in your congregation.

A prayer you can pray:

I worship You, God! I thank You and praise You for the young adults in America. I thank you for those who love You and desire to pray for America. I am encouraged hearing about their powerful, faith-filled prayers at our nation’s capital. It was clearly Your plan to have that church from Chattanooga schedule a trip to take their youth and young adults to D.C. to coincide with the Kavanaugh hearings. You stirred their hearts for intercession in the midst of a tremendous battle. You orchestrated putting them right in the middle of this historic shift in the Court. You gave them a Justice that would fight for life in their generation. You gave them a heritage of “life”. I pray it holds! Show me where there is a house of prayer near me that is filled with young worshippers and intercessors. I want to go and intercede for them while they minister before You, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree young adults and teens in the Church will be fully welcomed in their roles as worshippers and intercessors for America!

A Report on “Giants Will Fall” – Part 3

Closely associated with praying for the Supreme Court is the abortion issue. There was much prayer this year regarding this hideous giant. We believe we are close to seeing the evil law, Roe vs Wade, reversed. This could be the most significant event of our lifetime regarding America’s future and destiny. This giant is falling. We also prayed against the giant of racism. Chuck Pierce spoke strongly into this, stating that the root of racism is anti-Semitism. Will Ford and Matt Lockett also shared powerful words regarding this stronghold. Indeed, their very lives, mingled together, are weapons against this hideous spirit. After they shared their story of racial healing and harmony, it was incredibly moving to see Black, White, and First Nations brothers kneeling together around Will’s ancestral kettle [you can read their story in their new book The Dream King]. We believe much happened in the spirit realm to bind the strongman and dismantle the stronghold of racism in America.

“David said to the Philistine, ‘You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head… All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.’” (1 Samuel 17:45, 46a amd 47; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • David ran to the battle against that giant taunting Israel, Goliath. Do not be afraid to engage these modern day giants! Gird yourself up with worship and get ready to overthrow these giants with prayer!
  • Stir up the faith to believe that abortion and racism are coming up by the root!
  • Intercede for someone who you know is Jewish.
  • Repent of any sense of anti-Semitism you may feel.
  • Intercede for someone you do not always get along with who is a different race than you. Note what happens to your heart. Let God minister there and fill you with His love and compassion.
  • Look for ways today to love, serve, and honor those who are a different race than you.

A prayer you can pray:

God, so much goes into shaping my mindsets and heart attitudes, and it is not all Your Word. Things others say may sway me. The ways my family members act toward others may be the way I naturally act. In the case of abortion, I may hate those who choose abortion, perform abortions, fund abortions, or support any of those. My anger may override any ability to lovingly intercede for those you love. I have to remember that all of these people have the same enemy I do – one that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. He is a deceiver and the father of lies. Focus my intercession where it should be and break my heart for what breaks Yours! I purposefully choose to intercede for Jewish friends today. I intercede for Jewish politicians, media personalities, and neighbors. Reveal any inkling of judgmentalism or anti-Semitism in me. I give You permission, Holy Spirit, to root it out! (Pray also for someone you know is another race than you.) God, make us one, even as You are One. Let me go through the day today and love as You love, Jesus, especially where another’s race is different from mine. I want to be purposeful in prayer and action to destroy this giant of racism. Amen!

Today’s decree:

The giants of abortion and racism are falling in America!

A Report on “Giants Will Fall” – Part 2

We prayed not only for the Supreme Court, but for all of our government. God is using our president to shift the Judicial system, expose corruption in our government, strengthen our military and economy, support the Church, and reverse many unrighteous regulations. We prayed for our President, asking God to give us the leaders we need in all congressional and governmental offices. We were also reminded that once conservative leaders are in office, we must remember to continue praying for them and their families.

Pray for kings and others in power, so we may live quiet and peaceful lives as we worship and honor God.” (I Timothy 2:2; CEV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • If we desire freedom to worship, we must commit to pray for our government leaders.
  • If we want an environment of freedom to share the Gospel in America, we must pray for those we have chosen to lead us. Ask the Lord to give you more of a heart to do so.
  • Pray for President Trump. Thank the Lord for the things he has accomplished, such as appointing Justice Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. He has also increased religious freedom, strengthened our economy and reversed unrighteous regulations. Ask God to grant him greater wisdom and self-control.
  • Intercede for all of your Senators and Representatives. Call, email, or write them and let them know you are praying for them. Visit your Congressman’s local office and ask to pray with their staff. Let them know you care about them as a person, even if you don’t agree with their political ideology.
  • Choose a member of President Trump’s Cabinet (here). Bless them today in Jesus’ name.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, Your Word tells me to pray for those who govern me. It clearly says that Your people can live peaceful lives, if we pray. How could I not want a peaceful environment for America and my family? There is so much fear, division, anger, and anxiety in this nation today. Help me to be a part of the prayer solution, instead of running my mouth on social media, inflaming the problems. I thank you for President Trump, my Senators, my Representative, and all those who govern this nation. I want to learn about them, encourage them, write them, and intercede for them. Let them feel loved by You through the prayers of the saints. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We commit to pray for our government leaders.

A Report on Giants Will Fall – Part 1

We have hosted 3 Appeal to Heaven conferences this year — The Turnaround in Washington, DC, Forward in Colorado  Springs, and Giants Will Fall in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In the words of a trusted prophetic friend, “I thought after DC I would never experience anything as great in my life. To my surprise, Colorado Springs was greater and Chattanooga, shockingly, was greater than them both.” The consensus from leaders present was that we are now experiencing this great shift, and that another opening will be occurring on the Court very soon. We prayed into this, not by “cursing” any individual, but by praying blessings and salvation over all the Justices, while also asking God for the vacancy. We then prayed and decreed His choice to replace the next person leaving the Bench.

He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine.” (1 Samuel 17:40; NLT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for the many prayer gatherings that have been held this last year, where the focus was on exalting God over America!
  • Choose to put your entire trust in the Lord regarding the nation’s current spiritual position.
  • Begin to pray for the next person the Lord is raising up to become a Supreme Court Justice.
  • Bless all of the current nine Supreme Court Justices.
  • Thank the Lord in advance for the prophesied vacancy on the Court.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we are so encouraged by the increasing anointing for prayer for our nation. Each time we gather together, You show up, stronger and stronger each time! So many have been willing to pay a great price to keep gathering together in worship and intercession for the future of the United States of America. Thank you that the Senate was retained in conservative hands, for they are the ones that will seat the next Justice of the Supreme Court. Prepare that person well—spiritually and emotionally, for the confirmation battle. We pray for each current Justice of the Court and ask You to bless them. Grant them a grace to know You better, regardless of how they relate to You today. Make room for those of Your own choosing on that Court. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

America’s Giants are falling!
