Identificational Repentance

Everlasting God (Olam El) permanently forgives our sin when we repent. Because of the blood of Jesus, He remembers our sin no more! When we repent is as if we never sinned! Daniel showed us that we can take up a position of repentance for the sin of our nation. He will listen to the petition of His saints washed in His blood!

“I prayed to the lord my God and confessed: ‘Oh Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands.’” (Dan. 9:4; NLT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for saving you and permanently forgiving your sin.
  • Acknowledge that He is willing to listen to you, His child washed in the blood of Jesus, when you present the sin of your nation to Him.
  • Read the prayer from Daniel 9: 4-19, inserting your city, your state, and the United States of America as the location.

A prayer you can pray:

Dear Everlasting Lord, thank you so much that you have removed my sin from me as far as the east is from the west and you remember it no more! It feels so good to be completely forgiven and I desire that others might know this freedom, as well! Thank you that you hear my prayers on behalf of my nation. (Read the prayer from Daniel 9:4-19 to the Lord inserting your city, state and the United States of America as the location.) Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree that God has forgiven me completely from my sin and that He hears my intercession on behalf of my city, state and nation today!

Judgement on Shebna

In Isaiah 22 the Lord pronounces judgement on a man named Shebna. He was in charge of serving the royal household, but he had taken special favors for himself in that position, becoming proud and self-serving instead. So, the Lord told him in no uncertain terms that He would replace him with the son of a priest, Eliakim. Eliakim means, “God sets up.” It was to Eliakim that God gave the promise in Isaiah 22:22.

“Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, when he opens no one will shut when he shuts no one will open. I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, and he will become a throne of glory to his father’s house.” (Isaiah 22:22-23; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Decree that all of the “Shebnas” in government positions are dismissed! Ask the Lord to promote the Eliakims!
  • Decree that the above exchanges will shift governmental offices at the Supreme Court, in the federal courts, in the Congress and in the White House, in Cabinet positions and in other government agencies in Washington, D. C.
  • Decree that the shift in personnel by the Lord will break unrighteous, unholy, spiritual and natural alliances that have caused righteous laws to be overthrown and even distorted the God-given statutes in our U. S. Constitution. Call them back into right alignment!

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we fire the Shebnas and promote the Eliakims of Isaiah 22 into righteous positions of power. We say that the process now begins that will transform he Supreme Court and the federal benches. We decree “broken” over the unrighteous, unholy alliances of the Congress and the White House and the Courts to try to overthrow righteous laws and the Constitution You gave us! We decree that these alliances must become unraveled and your power is taken away from you! This nation will return to its God-given covenant roots, its true covenant with Almighty God, its true covenant with scripture and with You, Jesus! Amen!

Today’s decree:

I decree that the Shebnas are fired and the Eliakims are hired in government offices today!

Decrees to Close Doors to Evil

We, the Ekklesia, decide what is allowed and what is forbidden in our nation. We open doors and decide what doors to close. We can decree the unraveling of all of the unrighteous covenants that have been entered into in this nation with darkness and death and covenants that have made their way into and empowered government. We can decree the unraveling of unrighteous and evil governmental decrees at the national and local levels and in the courts where unrighteous laws have empowered demonic spirits. We can close the door!

“And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.” (Isaiah 22:22; KJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • We have a nation to turn around! It is time! Are you in? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you press in today.
  • Get out a piece of paper and a pen and write down the decrees the Lord gives you to decree to shut doors in this nation to demonic powers that no man can open. Ask God for at least three. Boldly decree them.
  • Worship the Lord, because He has included you in His plan to save this nation!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, thank you for telling us in Isaiah 22:22 that You have given us authority to shut doors that no one can open and open doors that no one can shut. I understand this to be a spiritual opening and shutting done under Your authority alone! Show me at least three things that I can decree today to shut demonic doors to my nation. I want to shut doors to death covenants that have empowered demonic entities and kept this nation from the fullness of Your blessings and the fullness of our national destiny! Hear me decree them in alignment with Your Word, Lord and seal the spiritual doors against the darkness! In Jesus’ name. Amen!

Today’s decree:

We decree the unraveling of unrighteous and evil governmental decrees at the national and local levels and in the courts where unrighteous laws have empowered demonic spirits!

America – Begun in Earnest Prayer

As the nation was birthed and our Constitution being considered, chaos, strife and argument ensued. Benjamin Franklin stepped in and said, “I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth – that God governs in the affairs of men. I therefore beg…that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven…be held…every morning before we proceed to business.” (1)

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.” (Psalms 127:1; New American Standard Bible)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Read Psalms 127:1 back to the Lord. Tell Him how desperately we need Him in our lives, our family’s life and in the governmental affairs of our nation.
  • Thank Him for the governmental leaders of the past that acknowledged their need of His involvement in their governing.
  • Declare that we need Him more today than ever and that we must have His involvement in our government once again.

A prayer you can pray:

Dear Lord, thank you that the founders of our nation acknowledged their need of You in governing our fledgling country. Thank you that they humbled themselves in prayer and asked for your divine guidance. They knew they could do not do this without You, Lord. Please speak to our government leaders today and show them how much they need your involvement in leading this nation. Show me how to pray regularly for them to hear You and be led by You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We decree that the leaders of our government will see their great need of You, Lord, and will seek Your wisdom and knowledge in our nation’s affairs.

Praying for Italy

Saturday, August 27th, has been designated a national day of mourning in Italy. In the early morning hours last Wednesday, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit the central part of the country. Many of the towns in the area around Amatrice, about 100 km northeast of Rome, were completely demolished. At least 287 people were killed, nearly 400 were injured and over 2000 are homeless. Noone has been pulled alive from the rubble since Wednesday night and regular aftershocks are hampering rescue efforts. Historical buildings and works of art were also damaged or destroyed.

“‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • The residents of Amatrice, Italy, and the surrounding cities need to know how much God loves them today. Ask the Father to help the mourning there to turn to Him for comfort and feel His tangible love for them.
  • The Bible tells us in Romans 12:15 to mourn with those who mourn. It’s okay to weep as you pray.
  • Ask God for angelic assistance for the rescue workers, so that they can find any other survivors today! Command the earth to stand still, so the rescue efforts are successful.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we pray that You would pour Your love and comfort out on the residents of Amatrice and the other towns in Italy that have been devastated by these earthquakes and aftershocks. Holy Spirit, be their Comforter. Help them to turn to You in this time of great need and fear, and find comfort in the depth of Your love for them. May many find You as Savior in this time of trauma. Lord, also, send angels to help, and lead the rescue workers right to where the survivors can be found! We ask these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Today’s decree:

God will comfort those who mourn and find the physically and spiritually lost in Italy today!

Appeal to Heaven!

“From the days of the pilgrims, godly men and women have believed the Almighty was involved in the birth of our nation.” (1) Each group and individual gave glory to God in their season. Only God was seen to give true freedom and those coming to America’s shores worshipped Him for that. When freedom was threatened just prior to the Revolutionary War, the patriots, led by George Washington, grabbed a motto from John Locke and placed it on a flag – “Appeal to Heaven!”

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1; New International Version) “So now, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his supplications.” (Daniel 9: 17a; New American Standard Bible)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for the freedom He has given us through Christ and that this is a hallmark of this nation.
  • Thank Him for those who first came here carrying His dream in their hearts to see a nation established which honored the Lord.
  • Acknowledge that we must appeal to heaven to see a restoration of that atmosphere of God-fearing freedom in America once again.

A prayer you can pray:

Dear Lord, I believe that it was a dream in your heart that established the United States of America. I believe You desired to have a place where your people could be free to worship You, to learn of You and to live a life in alignment with your Word in every aspect of their lives. We want our nation to fulfill the destiny you planned for it. We appeal to heaven that You would put the United States of America back on your track once again and let us be that example of a nation whose God is the Lord. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We decree that this is a nation whose God is the Lord and that God’s dream for America will come to pass!

Kingdom of God, Come!

The Lord’s prayer is a passage of scripture that most Christians know by heart. We say it by rote in most Sunday services. It is a comforting passage, if for no other reason than we know it so well.  However, this passage was written in the present imperative tense, which basically means it is written as a command! It changes everything when you read it like this and pray it like this!

“This is how you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Holy is Your name.  Kingdom of God, come! Will of God, be done! On earth as it is in heaven.’” (Matthew 6:9-10)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • So, you think you know the Lord’s Prayer? Go ahead and recite it as you know it. Now, recite it beginning as written above! Let it sink in!
  • Tell the Lord you want to align with His purpose for this scripture—His command to us is that we command His Kingdom to come into the earth! That we command His Will to be done in the earth, so that heaven and earth are aligned!
  • Command His Kingdom to come in every place you can think of where there is governmental authority. His Kingdom must come into that place of authority and when it does, at the command of His people, His voice in the earth, everything must change!

A prayer you can pray:

“In alignment with our King, we would dare pray the King’s prayer the King’s way today. We say to the Kingdom of Almighty God, “Come! And keep on coming! Come Kingdom of God. Come to every capital. Come to every state. Come to Washington, D. C. Come to our cities and schools and police departments. Ruling government of God, come! Come and rule over us in Jesus’ Name!” Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will take another look at this scripture, ask God for a revelation of it’s imperative nature, and then use it like a sword to see the Kingdom of God come all around us!

Loosed and Declared!

Yesterday, we bound some things. We forbid doctrines of demons and foreign gods to rule over this nation. But, Matthew 16:18-19 does not stop there.  We must put something in place to replace what we have stopped, forbidden and removed. So today, we will use those keys to establish Jesus as King over America and we will loose all of those things that go with His Kingship.

“This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell. Peter, I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19; VOICE)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Got those keys of authority in your hands again? Repent for not doing this sooner and for not using them more. Ask the Lord for fresh revelation on this concept if you are not sure about it.
  • Loose favor and grace on those the Lord would choose as the next governmental leaders over America that they might rule in righteousness and justice, which are the foundations of His throne. (See Psalm 89:14.)
  • See the enemy standing amongst all of his false-god manifestations and those he has given false human authority to. See the Ekklesia, the Church, rising with you and declaring as one voice, “We have no king, but Jesus and we will serve only Him!”

A prayer you can pray:

We declare in the Name of King Jesus the loosing of favor and great grace upon those who would rule us in righteousness, who would rule us in justice, who would stand on Your side King Jesus. We now make a declaration in the Name of our King, in the face of infidels, in the face of humanists and of those who declare that there is another god or many gods. In the Name of Jesus Christ, the Ekklesia arises and declares, “We have no king, but Jesus Christ! We will serve Him only!!”

Today’s decree:

We will have no other King but Jesus, and Him only will we serve!

Forbidden!

Jesus gave Peter the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven! But they weren’t just given to Peter at that time for that moment in time. They were given to the Church to use on earth until Jesus comes again! These are governmental keys, ruling and reigning keys, keys of authority! We must use them in intercession and believe that what we are asking in accordance with His Will will come to pass! Get ready to forbid a few things!

  • Remind yourself of who you are in Christ. See those keys of Matthew 16:18-19 in your hand and get ready to bind some things up today!
  • Think of the state of the nation and what you are seeing in the election news. Before we can loose some things, we must bind some things.
  • Binding means “forbidding”. Forbid the following to rule us as a nation: an anti-Christ government structure, unrighteousness, lying, corruption, injustice and doctrines of demons. Forbid them with the authority Christ has given you! Forbid other things the Lord shows you.

A prayer you can pray:

We today, as confident citizens in Your Kingdom, rise to accomplish Your Word, King Jesus. In accordance with Matthew 16:18-19 and in the Name of our King, Jesus Christ the Lord of Glory, we forbid an anti-Christ government to rule us! We forbid unrighteousness to rule us! We forbid liars to rule us! We forbid corruption to rule us! We forbid injustice to rule us! We rise today to take our seat with You, Lord, and forbid doctrines of demons to rule us in the Name of King Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

I will use the keys of authority Christ has given me together with the faith He has provided and forbid these evil things to rule America!

Prayer for the Teachers

“The quality of the teacher has a huge impact on how much students learn. One study found that ‘good teachers have an extraordinarily powerful impact on the future lives of their students. Symmetrically, the researchers show the lasting damage that poor teachers have on the lives of their students.’ Furthermore, students who get the best teachers learn a lot and students who get the worst teachers fall behind. This study found that teachers matter most in producing educational results; more than class size, the curriculum, or the amount of money spent per student.”1

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.” (James 3:17-18; TLB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray for every teacher you know and especially for the teacher(s) your child(ren) will have this school year, if you know who they will be.
  • Ask the Lord to give those teachers the wisdom of God, even if they do not know Him yet.
  • Pray that their skill to teach would be touched by the sovereign hand of God and that they teach with an anointing that gives each student exactly what they need. Believe for classroom miracles as the teachers instruct!
  • Pray that your child(ren) will be salt and light in the classroom and even bring a teacher or more to the Lord this school year.

A prayer you can pray:

“We bless our teachers in the name of the Lord and ask for divine health and Your abundant blessing on their families and finances and most of all that they would know and serve You! Holy Spirit, You are the ultimate Teacher, we invite You into our classrooms to lead students and teachers alike ‘into all truth.’ Father, we pray for every teacher with a true calling from You to be an educator. We cry out for a fresh anointing for our teachers – that they would be supernaturally empowered to achieve results far beyond their natural skills!”1 In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

We decree the exact right pairing of teachers with our Christian children, so that they may thrive!
