Veterans Day – A Day of Honor

“The hero is the man dedicated to the creation and/or defense of reality-conforming, life-promoting values.” (Andrew Bernstein)

“Better than honor and glory, and History’s iron pen, was the thought of duty done and the love of his fellow-men.” (Richard Watson Gilder)

Our veterans are dear to Americans’ patriotic hearts. We acknowledge their sacrifices and those of their families in times of war. They have marched bravely to the battlefield and mostly won, sometimes lost, those battles. However, have you ever realized that these men and women create and defend life-promoting values? Of course, they do! They are fighting for our lives! Today, we celebrate their lives and express our love and gratitude to them!

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:10; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for every veteran by name that you know.
  • Pray for all veterans that God would bless them with health and wholeness. Pray that every need they have would be met in Christ Jesus.
  • Intercede for the salvation of these veterans. Pray that the horrors they have seen on the battlefield will not cause them to push God away.
  • Now, go out and do something loving and kind for a veteran today.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I thank you for (name the veterans you know.) I pray that you would bless them with whole bodies and minds. They often suffer so greatly. Let them know they are loved by You, Lord. We ask that you would present Your Son to them in supernatural ways. Let Your love for them override the pain and mental anguish of battle. Show me how to bless veterans today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We honor those who fight for our freedom and our lives—our nation’s veterans!

Determining Your Preappointed Boundaries

“The Apostle Paul stood up in front of a group of philosophers in a pagan city and preached this amazing message found in Acts 17:26, “God has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings so that they should seek the Lord…” You were chosen and appointed to live in a particular time and place; the boundaries of your nation were set from before the beginning of time in order that man might seek and find the Lord! Your attitude and in fact your involvement as an intercessor and Spirit-filled Christian in and toward the purposes of God in your nation is a major part of your own spiritual destiny and inheritance.”1 (Sid Roth)

God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause Your face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, and Your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations on earth.” (Psalm 67:1-4)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray Psalm 67:1-4.
  • Thank the Lord that He has “preappointed your boundaries.” This means it is no accident that you live where you live. Thank Him for the city you live in, the state, the region (the part of America you identify with—Northeast, South, Eastern Seaboard, Midwest, West, Mountain States, Southwest, West Coast, Northwest, etc.) Thank Him that you have an assignment in that region. Ask Him what it is!
  • Ask the Lord to connect you with others that pray in your city, state and region. Think beyond your local church. Do a little research and find a group you can join that is praying in the area of your assignment as you understand it from the Lord. You might get on their email list or find they have a conference call you can jump in on. Or, make you own and start building your prayer tribe.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, as I pray Psalm 67:1-4, I praise You and thank You that You are the Judge over all and You govern the nations with righteousness! As Your child, I get to govern together with You by interceding together with others and setting the spiritual atmosphere over my city, state, region and nation. You have set the boundaries of that governance by positioning me in the place that I live. Help me to find those who are praying for my areas of influence, so that I can join them and we can together make a difference in our part of the nation. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Today’s decree:

My spiritual boundaries were preappointed by the Lord and I will accept the assignment given by Him to intercede for the area He has placed me in!

The Great Unravelling

“For a while now the Lord has been showing Jolene a progressive vision featuring a huge, tangled ball of string. The string represents the high-level entanglements and corruption of a few key leaders in Washington, D.C., involving abuse of power, high level intentional deception and even sex abuse. In short, betrayal. Jolene’s been praying over this vision for months. And for months she’s been saying that the string of these entanglements is too tightly wound up here to unwind it only from Washington, D.C. Instead, it has to be unwoven from the outer ends. The Lord showed her that’s a major reason why we are sent from D.C. to minister, including on the Glory Train journey. Some of this simply can’t be accomplished so close to the source. For instance, Hollywood and Washington, D.C. are way intertwined. What’s now happening there is also beginning to happen here. At the very same time, only maybe at a lesser magnitude. But it’s going to happen. Because last night the Lord clearly spoke to Jolene the phrase, ‘the Great Unravelling.’” (Jon Hamill)1

“Don’t get involved with the fruitless works of darkness; instead, expose them to the light of God. You see, it’s a disgrace to speak of their secrets (so don’t even talk about what they do when no one is looking).” (Ephesians 5:11-12; VOICE)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • The first place a Believer should go when a season of exposure of sin is happening is to the throne of grace, as fast as we can get there. Let the fear of the Lord fall on you and confess every place of darkness He shows you, so it does not publicly get exposed.
  • Pray that everything God plans to expose now is exposed, especially in Hollywood, in the media, and in government. It is merciful and right.
  • Intercede for those whom the devil is seeking to destroy with sin. Ask God for a great harvest of souls, so the enemy will not have them forever.
  • Pray that the exposure of sin will result in a harvest, as those around the ones exposed see how the exposure affects their lives. Pray the fear of the Lord falls on them and they quickly repent.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I come boldly to the throne of grace and ask You to shine Your intense and holy light on my life and my heart. Put a guard on my mouth and thoughts. Keep my feet from stumbling into sin. Forgive me every iniquity. I can see this is a season of pulling the curtain back on sin, especially in Hollywood, in those in media, and in government arenas. I stand in the gap and ask that, though the darkness may need to be judged in the courts of the earth, the souls of those in the darkness would be saved. Let them encounter You. I ask the same for their family members, friends, and even the general public that has enamored them. Let them see what is happening and run to You for salvation before their own dark deeds are brought into the light. Thank you, merciful Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree that the Great Unravelling will not be stopped until everything God plans to expose in this season is out in the light.

He’s looking for Pure-hearted Worshippers

God is looking for only one thing and that is the heart. He’s really not into worship. Does that surprise you? God doesn’t seek worship. Nowhere in scripture does it say He does. It says He seeks worshippers. It’s not the song that excites Him, it’s the singer. He’d rather have a glance from a loving countenance than a song sung by the greatest singer in the world, if it did not come from the heart. He’s into heart issues. He is finding a people all across this nation that have come back to basics. They don’t care about the fluff. They are hungry for Him – pure-hearted worshippers.

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” (John 4:23; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Sit quietly before Him and ask Him what kind of worshipper you are. Let Him be honest with you. Don’t be afraid of what He’ll say. Repent, if you need to.
  • Ask Him to give you the heart of a worshipper, not given to perfection or performance, not caring what others think, but simply adoring Him.
  • Sing to Him a song from your heart without caring what it sounds like. Just sing Him a love song.
  • Go and show Jesus to someone who needs to see Him today. In this manner, by pure-hearted worshippers, shall our nation shall be changed.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I come before You today with my heart laid bare. Examine it, please. I want to be a worshipper, clean before You, clean and free to worship without hinderance or fear. Give me a clean heart. Remove performance and the fear of man from me. Accept my song of worship, coming from the new, clean heart You’re forming in me. Show me how to expand Your Kingdom by sharing this love with others around me. Help me to multiply myself into multitudes of new pure-hearted worshippers, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree that the day of the pure-hearted worshippers has come to America and now the miracles will begin.

The Revealing of His Glory Touches All Flesh

As His glory comes down and the Lord exalts Himself, He is going to bring down that which has opposed Him. We’re not to be alarmed at the feverish, resistance to what He is doing that is evident in this nation right now. The warfare is intense. The demons are manifesting, and they manifest in a lot of ways, including violence. Do not be discouraged! The Glory is returning! Those who have opposed Him will be dealt with and those who are welcoming Him in His way will be exalted.

“And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” (Isaiah 40:5; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Know that God has a plan to reveal His Glory.
  • Ask Him to see it and participate in it, rather than be one who resists it, politically or religiously.
  • Tell Him you want Him, for with Him comes His glory.
  • Pray for any you know who are resisting Him. They may be church attendees. They may be atheists or anything in between.
  • Spiritually arrest those who oppose Christ, who are opposing His people and His plan. Call them to repentance and salvation.
  • Worship Him.

A prayer you can pray:

God, You have always had a plan. You have protected Your plan and Your Name. You have always had a remnant. The ark even now is returning. The dance of David is even now taking place on the hillside outside of Jerusalem. The restoration of the Tabernacle of David is being accomplished even as we speak, and the ark of His Presence is about to manifest here and in the nations of the earth. You are going to show us manifestations of Your Glory in unique ways. Come, Lord, Jesus, come!

Today’s decree:

To the strongholds of darkness that have run the people of God and the prophets into caves, Baal and Jezebel, “He has dealt with you and He will deal with you. You will not silence the Elijahs and the Elishas, nor keep His Presence from our shores.”

Weep and Mourn and Call for the Watchmen

For some unknown reason, a man named Devin Patrick Kelley went to Sutherland Springs, TX, yesterday and opened fire on a church service at the First Baptist Church. He killed 26 people, including children and the pastor’s own daughter. About 20 additional congregants were wounded. This was the largest church shooting in our history, as far as we know. This happened in a tiny Texas town with about 400 residents. About 50 people attended a typical service at the church, which means almost all of them were involved. Chances are that every family in and around the town was touched by this tragedy. So many families are in pain today. We refuse to accept this type of violence as a new normal for this nation. We won’t accept attacks on our schools, houses of worship, neighborhoods or events. We will watch and we will pray.

“For this is what the sovereign master has told me: ‘Go, post a guard! He must report what he sees. When he sees chariots, teams of horses, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, he must be alert, very alert.’ Then the guard cries out: ‘On the watchtower, O sovereign master, I stand all day long; at my post I am stationed every night.’” (Isaiah 21:6-8; NET)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Weep with those who weep today. Let compassion drive your prayers.
  • Ask God to comfort the many family members and friends who have been affected by this tragedy.
  • Declare that the full explanation of this situation will be known.
  • Declare that the Believers in America will not give this nation over to the strategies of the enemy to cause fear and destruction.
  • Tell the Lord that you are willing to be a watchman, watching with Him over your city.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, my heart is breaking for the situation that occurred at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland, TX, yesterday. Comfort those who are mourning and in pain. We have had too many of these types of large-scale shootings lately. All the reasons seem different, but we know who is ultimately behind them all – Satan, our ancient foe. Lord, pull the curtains back on the full truth! We declare that we Christians will take their places as watchman over our realms of influence – our cities, schools, neighborhoods. I am signing up to be a watchman, watching with You, Jesus. Show me things I need to see. Amen.

Today’s decree:

I will stand all day long at my post and will not abandon the post You station me at through the night.

The Next Step – Day after Reformation Day 2017

I say the two words people are saying are ‘revival’ and ‘reformation’. We need to have revival. And we also need to make sure our societies are reformed. I think what has started here is going to go around the world this time not as a reformation of the Church, but a reformation of our nations. It’s so very exciting to see these young people, they’re out on the streets, witnessing. This one No Limits group, they have been going out by the hundreds; teenagers going out into the streets and seeing incredible miracles. Fifteen-year-olds are praying for blind people, and their eyes are opening. Just really outstanding miracles. This is very encouraging here in Germany, and it’s going to be a groundswell we believe will happen.” (Cindy Jacobs)1

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:1b-3; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Call for revival and reformation!
  • Call for the young, passionate evangelists!
  • Intercede for the “No Limits” group in Germany. Pray that the miracles they are already seeing would be multiplied. Pray for other young evangelist groups to explode on the scene and sweep around the globe.
  • Call for miracles, miracles, miracles and harvest, harvest, harvest!
  • Ask God to go beyond revival with us and use the Ekklesia to reform our nation’s society.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I call for revival and reformation! It is time! I call for the revealing of the young evangelists to come forth, mantled in grace and expressing your Kingdom gifts. I pray for this “No Limits” group in Germany that Cindy encountered. Wow! They are so full of faith. They are seeing signs, wonders, and miracles on a consistent basis. Release other young, fiery evangelists around the world. We want them here in the U.S., as well! Miracles, miracles, miracles, Lord! Give us a great harvest of souls! Move through Your Ekklesia to reform every area of America and other nations of the world. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree that the new move of revival and reformation will glorify the Son, Jesus!

Reformation Day!

“On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, beginning what would become known as the Protestant Reformation. Ironically, these ‘Theses’ were not an attack on the Church as much as a reintroduction of what true repentance really meant and a call to return to it.”1 Today is “October 31, 2017, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The Church today is in a similar place of lack in understanding true repentance. We are still not yet operating in the full potential the Church was established by Jesus to display.  In Martin Luther’s Day, sin and corruption were rampant, immorality was destroying the family, and “truth” was whatever influential people said it was. Sound familiar?” (Cindy Jacobs)2

“Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:19-26; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Find the Reformation Manifesto 2017 here.
  • Read the document out loud and make it your prayer.
  • Consider printing it out and posting it on the doors of your home, business, ministry, and church.
  • Commit to live the words on this page, the concepts which are taken from the Word of God.

A prayer you can pray:

Please see the prayer points above for today.

Today’s decree:

I decree that we, the Church of Jesus Christ, commit to live our lives in accordance with God’s Word, while we walk daily in the realms of authority God had led us into. We will see His Kingdom come and His will be done throughout our communities and nation, as we bring His presence, wisdom, light, and love into these dark areas of our society.

Step 2 – God Guards His Glory

God guards His glory, even when it seems lost. God protects His glory in a nation. He will raise up a people that will go find it. As I travel the nation, I see people that have gotten past “let’s be big”, “let’s see who can build the fastest”, “let’s see what magazine cover we can get on”. These are people that are going after Him. We know we have to meet together and we honor the local church, but the focal point is not the local church. It’s the King and His Kingdom. We are also not trying to get God’s presence into our local church, so we can glorify the local place, but we are focusing on giving the glory to the King. Then, He can give His presence to all the churches and the region, and all the churches will start growing. The weight of His glory will come into our midst and He’ll be recognized. He comes with signs and wonders, deliverance, blessing, salvation and miracles. The lost will recognize it and say, “This is something different!”

“Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.” (Psalm 72:19; WEB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Acknowledge before the Lord that the glory of the Lord has been lost in this nation for a season.
  • Know that God is not nervous about this, but identificational repentance is in order. Tell the Lord that you want Him and His presence, not just a feel-good church service. Tell Him you want Him glorified and you’ll stop just trying to get people to come to your local church so you can have a big church.
  • Glorify the King of Kings! Welcome His presence and His glory, wherever you are.
  • Ask Him to glorify Himself with signs and wonders moving through you wherever you go.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I acknowledge that Your glory has been lost to this nation for a season. Forgive us for making your presence all about us. We have made it a growth strategy. We have used Your glory to get people into church and, worse, to make a name for ourselves! You are worth so much more than this! Show us Your presence. Show up in the full weight of Your glory! Drive the darkness away and draw the lost to Yourself. Let this happen everywhere we go for those of us who seek You this way. The lost will be drawn to Your glory. They will want You and want to hang out with those that truly know You and walk in Your ways, working signs and wonders, salvation, deliverance and miracles. Come, Lord Jesus. Come.

Today’s decree:

I decree that the lost will be drawn to the presence and glory of God and this nation will glorify Him!

Oct 2017

Step 1 – The Process of Rediscovering the Ark – Part 1

It is an ark of presence and glory. When the blessing of the Lord is sought, rather than His presence and glory, it results in a loss of glory. You can’t seek first the blessing, the provision, and all the other Kingdom benefits. You will lose the very thing you are seeking. The Hebrews wanted the blessing of YHWH, but they didn’t care about His presence. It says in Chronicles that in all the days of Saul they never sought the ark. They didn’t care that the ark had been carried off by the Philistines to another part of the country. The Philistines sent it back to Israel and it dwelt in the house of Kiriath Jearim for 20 years. 20 years!

“Then we’ll bring back our God’s ark, which we ignored while Saul was king.” (1 Chronicles 13:3; GWT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Worship the Lord for Who He is. Let all of your needs go out of your mind and let your worship be all about Him. If this is hard, ask Him why and let Him tell you. You may have an area of your heart that needs healed. The enemy may have made you feel rejected by Him or disappointed that He did not come through for you in a way you expected.
  • Tell Him, “I just want You, Jesus.” When you prioritize Him and His presence and glory, He will add all the rest.
  • Worship Him again. Get lost in His presence and glory.

A prayer you can pray:

I worship You, Lord. I come to You and ask that You, just You, be my focus now. (If this is hard, ask Him why and let Him tell you. You may have an area of your heart that needs healed. The enemy may have made you feel rejected by Him or disappointed that He did not come through for you in a way you expected.) Jesus, I just want You! I want to worship You in spirit and truth, just me and You. I long for Your presence. I want to hang out in Your glory. I don’t want to be like the Israelites who ignored the ark of Your presence! I will worship You even more. (Worship Him.)

Today’s decree:

I decree that we will bring back the ark of His Presence to our cities and to America.
