70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 18

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES AND TERRITORIES

“From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.” (Acts 17:26-27; NIV)

“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30-31; NLT)

“So, the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.” (Nehemiah 6:15-16; NIV)

Nehemiah rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem in 52 days. The Lord has called us to rebuild His wall of righteousness in our nation, states, and territories!

For the next 52 days, February 26, 2019 through April 18, 2019, the 70 Day Decree initiative will include prayer for each state and the territories of the USA. Each state will be prayed for according to the date it joined the union.

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Today, pray for your own state (counties/parishes).
  • Thank the Lord for the United State of America, your own state, city and neighborhood.
  • Pray for those in authority in your state, as directed by Holy Spirit.
  • Pray over the 7 mountains of society within your state: Church, Family, Government, Business, Education, Media, Arts/Entertainment.
  • You may want to look up information about your state. Ask Holy Spirit to give you a prayer strategy.
  • Another resource for strategic prayer for your state can be found in Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation, by Dutch Sheets.
  • Ask the Lord to release and rebuild His wall of righteousness within your state.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we come into agreement with Your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation, state, and cities. Thank you for the redemptive plan You have ordained for our nation, my state, city, and neighborhood. We are thankful for the exact times and places that You have ordained for us to live. We ask that You use Your plumb line to align our state in your righteousness. We call our state into the original intent of its birthright and destiny, as ordained by Almighty God. Lord, release and rebuild Your wall of righteousness within our nation and within my state. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 17

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

DANIEL’S INTERCESSION: REPENTANCE FOR A NATION

It is so important for us to recognize the times and the seasons of God in our lives. Belief determines behavior. Daniel understood through the prophetic word given through the prophet Jeremiah that the captivity of Israel would last for seventy years. He recognized the timing of the Lord and responded to the call of intercession. Daniel’s intercession became a catalyst for the deliverance of the children of Israel and their restoration to Jerusalem.

“In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom— in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So, I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.

“I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.  We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. “Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame — the men of Judah and people of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. O Lord, we and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you… “Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.  O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us. “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” ( Daniel 9:1-19; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Ask the Lord to cause you to recognize His times and seasons, so that you will know what to do and how to respond in intercession.
  • Read Daniel’s model prayer of intercession for a nation out loud.
  • Ask the Lord to place a fresh mantle of intercession upon you for this nation, as you stand in the gap to build up His wall of righteousness.

A prayer you can pray:

“O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.  We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

“Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame — as a nation because of the sins of innocent bloodshed, idolatry, immorality, broken covenants, blatant rebellion and a total disregard for righteousness. We have been unfaithful to you. O Lord, we, our leaders, and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you as a nation. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.  O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from our nation of America. Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. You have given us this 70 Day Decree prayer mandate to see reformation and transformation come to this nation of America. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your righteous remnant. Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the of this nation which bears your Name. We appeal to your great mercy. Oh Lord, listen! Oh Lord, forgive! Oh Lord, hear and act! For your sake, Oh my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name. Remember Your promise, righteousness exalts a nation. We humbly ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 16

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

THE SUPER INTERCESSOR

God works within us by the power of Holy Spirit to bring about His God dreams in our lives, and through us into our land.

“God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around, but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.” (Ephesians 3:20; MSG)

“…No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never, so much as imagined anything quite like it — What God has arranged for those who love Him.  But you’ve seen and heard it because God by His Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along.  Whoever knows what you’re thinking and planning except you yourself? The same with God — except that he not only knows what he’s thinking, but he lets us in on it. God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us. We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions. We didn’t learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we’re passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way. The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, can’t receive the gifts of God’s Spirit. There’s no capacity for them. They seem like so much silliness. Spirit can be known only by spirit — God’s Spirit and our spirits in open communion.  Spiritually alive, we have access to everything God’s Spirit is doing, and can’t be judged by unspiritual critics. Isaiah’s question, “Is there anyone around who knows God’s Spirit, anyone who knows what He is doing?” has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christ’s Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2:9-16; MSG)

“But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.”  (Jude :20 NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for His ability to work within your life and spheres of influence by the power of Holy Spirit.
  • Ask the Father to open your eyes and heart to the God-possibilities He is able to bring about in your life and this nation by the work of Holy Spirit within you.
  • Ask Holy Spirit to search out the deep things of God and make them known to you – bringing revelation that brings revolution in your life.
  • Thank the Lord that you have the mind of Christ.
  • Ask Holy Spirit to give you prayer strategies, as you stand in your designated spheres of influence and intercede for your city, state, and nation.
  • Acknowledge and yield to Holy Spirit as the Super-Intercessor who partners with you to bring about God’s Kingdom purposes in your life and land.
  • Practice Jude 20. Pray in the Holy Spirit.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we acknowledge that You can do anything, far more than we could ever imagine or guess or request in our wildest dreams! Thank you for working in our lives by the power of Holy Spirit. We yield to Your God-work within us. Lord, open our eyes and hearts to the God-possibilities that You want to bring about in our lives and this nation. We believe! Holy Spirit, search out the deep things of God and make them known to us. Thank you for the mind of Christ. Holy Spirit, give us prayer strategies as we stand in our designated spheres of influence and intercede for our cities, states, and nation. Lord, bring your revelation that bring revolution in our lives. Holy Spirit, intercede through us and bring forth the manifestations of God’s Kingdom purposes in the United States of America.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 15

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming — it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.” (Habakkuk 2:2-3; MSG)

It has come to our attention that there are those who are not aware of what the 70 Day prayer focus is. Here is the vision again:

The CALL: To the Righteous Remnant

Believers who will stand in the land for 70 days, decreeing and releasing the righteousness of God from Saturday, February 9, 2019, through Friday, April 19, 2019.

“But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who Believe.” (Romans 3:21-22; NIV)

The CAUSE: Raising up righteousness in our nation.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to sand in the gap on the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land.” (Ezekiel 22:30; NLT)

“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21; NIV)

The CATALYST: The voice of the righteous.

For 70 days, join with many others in releasing the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus through both your life and a united decree into your territory, spheres of influence, cities, states, and nation in order to see reformation and transformation come into our nation!

Please join us in this 70-day Decree raising righteousness!

Release the following decree at the beginning of each day. Then, throughout your day, manifest the righteousness of Christ in every place on which the soles of your feet tread. Our prayer is that you, yourself, will become the righteousness decree in the land!

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for this vision that He has given us for the 70 Day “Righteousness Exalts a Nation” prayer focus and decree.
  • Ask the Lord to write the vision upon the tablets of your heart and mind so that you will faithfully stand and daily make the decree.
  • Thank the Lord for the manifestation and the fulfillment of this vision in our land.
  • Ask that the Lord to raise up others across this nation that will catch the vision and run with it.
  • Share the vision with others as you are led by the Lord.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we thank you for the vision you have given us for the 70 days “Righteousness Exalts a Nation” prayer focus and decree. We acknowledge and come into agreement with the vision, the call, the cause and the catalyst. We agree with your word, “Righteousness exalts a nation…” Lord, write the vision upon the tablets of our hearts and minds so that we will faithfully stand and release your righteous decree in our land. We believe we will see the manifestation of this vision on earth, as it is in heaven. We ask you to raise up others across this nation who will catch the vision and run with it, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 14

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

THE SUPER INTERCESSOR!

“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.

God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet He also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, His holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.

So, we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are His lovers who have been called to fulfill His designed purpose. For He knew all about us before we were born, and He destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him.

Having determined our destiny ahead of time, He called us to Himself and transferred His perfect righteousness to everyone He called. And those who possess His perfect righteousness He co-glorified with His Son!” (Romans 8:26-30; TPT)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Thank God that He has given us Holy Spirit, the “Super Intercessor” who takes hold of us in our weakness and super-intercedes on our behalf when we don’t know how to pray.
  • Yield to the intercession of Holy Spirit within you.
  • Thank Holy Spirit that He is passionately pleading before God for us in perfect harmony with God’s plan and destiny for our lives and for this nation.
  • Thank the Lord that He has called you to Himself and transferred His perfect righteousness to you! Righteousness exalts a nation!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we are so thankful for the intercession coming out of the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. Thank you for giving us the “Super Intercessor” in the person of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, we acknowledge You as fully God in us and with us. We yield our lives to Your intercession. We ask You to super-intercede through us in harmony with God’s plan and destiny for our lives and this nation. Help us in our weakness when we do not know how to pray and plead our cause, so that the prayer bowls will be tipped in the nation of America. Lord, You have called us and transferred Your perfect righteousness to us. Let Your righteousness be manifested through us and into our land. Let Your righteousness exalt this nation and bring this country into Your redemptive plan. Thank you, Jesus. Amen!

Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 13

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

OUR INTERCESSOR

“Even now, my witness is in heaven; my advocate is there on high.” (Job 16:19; CJB)

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.  And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:28-39; NIV)

The revelation that Jesus Christ is at the right hand of God, interceding for us is one of the most profound revelations that you can ever have as a born-again believer. It will literally revolutionize your life to realize that you have a faithful intercessor who is committed to intercede for you regardless of life circumstances. We have an advocate on high, a radical intercessor who is causing all things to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. In all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. Let us stand fast in our purpose and complete the assignment of the 70 Day Decree to see His Righteousness exalt this nation and bring America into her birthright and destiny.

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Give all glory to God that we have a witness on high, an advocate, and a faithful intercessor in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Thank God that He works all things for the good of those that love Him who are called according to His purpose.
  • Receive the intercession of Jesus Christ into your life and thank Him for His faithfulness to intercede for you.
  • Thank God that He is conforming us to the image of Christ Jesus, His Son.
  • Acknowledge God’s redemptive purpose for America and ask Him to work all things for the good of this nation.
  • Thank the Lord that we are faithfully fulfilling His purpose in intercession in our spheres of influence and this nation.
  • Thank the Lord that He has made us “more than conquerors” through him who loves us.
  • Worship as you listen to “Extravagant” by Bethel Music.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we give You all glory and thanksgiving for You have given us a witness on high, an advocate and a faithful intercessor in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let this be revelatory to each one of us. We agree with Your Word that You are working all things for the good of those that love You and are called according to Your purpose. Conform us to the image of Your Son, Jesus. Lord Jesus, we agree and receive Your intercession into our lives and land. We acknowledge Your redemptive purpose for America. We ask You to work all thing for the good of this nation. What the enemy has meant for our destruction, let it be overthrown and turned for the saving of many lives. Lord, continue to raise up Your righteous remnant in this nation and cause us to faithfully fulfill Your purpose in intercession in our land. We are more than conquerors through You, Jesus. Thank you for Your extravagant love and faithful intercession for Your people. In Christ, Amen!

Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 12

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

THE RIGHTEOUS INTERCESSOR

“…Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant… because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because He always lives to intercede for them.” (Hebrews 7:22-25; NIV)

“You showed favor to your land, O Lord; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.

Selah

You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.

Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?  Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.

I will listen to what God the Lord will say; He promises peace to his people, his saints — but let them not return to folly. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.

Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” (Psalm 85:1-13; NIV)

Our Righteous Intercessor will receive his reward. It is to the Father’s glory that we bear fruit and fruit that stands showing ourselves to be His disciples. Today, be encouraged by the fact that Jesus Christ always gets His prayers answered. The Lord has given us His word and His decree to shift this nation of America! Harvest is upon us! “The Lord will indeed give what is good and our land will yield its harvest.”

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Read and meditate on the Scriptures above. Let their truth sink deep into your spirit.
  • Agree with the intercession of Jesus He is releasing over us personally, corporately, territorially, and generationally.
  • Come into agreement with the intercession of Jesus Christ over our nation and the Church of America.
  • Decree the Scriptures above into the place you live, and over your spheres of influence.

A prayer you can pray:

Father God, thank you for our Righteous Intercessor, Jesus, who is looking down from heaven. Jesus, you are the guarantee of a better covenant. We agree with your word, “Because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because He always lives to intercede for them” (Hebrews 7:25; NIV). Lord, we ask that a Spirit of repentance would be poured out upon Your church and America. Forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Draw this nation to Yourself with cords of loving-kindness. Restore us again, O God our Savior. Put away Your displeasure toward us as a nation. Revive us again and restore us that we may live in Your presence. Show us your unfailing love and grant us Your salvation. Lord, let us draw near to listen and hear and obey Your voice, so that we will not return to our folly. Let the fear of the Lord come upon Your people and this nation, that Your glory may dwell in our land. We decree Your Word into our territories, spheres of influence, cities, states and nation: “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.  The Lord will indeed give what is good and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” (Psalm 85:10-13; NIV) We ask in Your Name, Jesus. Amen!

Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 11

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS REDEEMER

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” (Matthew 5:14; BSB)

Read these lyrics from “Child of Light” and watch the music video here: Harvest Sound: https://youtu.be/TtlFzZ-RuTw))

“And when the enemy comes in like a flood, You raise up a standard. You don’t leave us as orphans in the flood. You are so good, oh, You’re so good…”

“…And He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no intercessor [no one to intervene on behalf of truth and right]; therefore, His own arm brought Him victory, and His own righteousness [having the Spirit without measure] sustained Him. For [the Lord] put on righteousness as a breastplate or coat of mail, and salvation as a helmet upon His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal [and furious divine jealousy] as a cloak.  According as their deeds deserve, so will He repay wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; on the foreign islands and coastlands He will make compensation.  So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift-up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].  He shall come as a Redeemer to Zion and to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression, says the Lord.  As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the mouths of your children’s children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever.”  (Isaiah 59:16-21; AMPC)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Read Isaiah 59 in the Amplified Bible Classic Edition.
  • Let us give all honor and glory to the greatest Intercessor in heaven and on earth. Let us give a standing ovation and bow before our Righteous Redeemer, our great God and King, Jesus Christ, who put on righteousness and came to save His people.
  • Thank the Lord for His Covenant that is written upon our hearts and our childrens’ by the Spirit of the Lord. Thank Him that His words will not depart from our mouths or the mouths of our children’s children.
  • Thank the Lord that He has raised His standard of righteousness in this nation against the flood of the enemy.
  • Thank the Lord that we are His standard of righteousness, which He has lifted in the land.
  • Let His light and glory shine through you everywhere you go!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we thank you for the power of your love and redemption as revealed in Isaiah 59. We release your light and glory into our spheres of influence this day. Jesus, we give You all honor and glory to you as our Righteous Redeemer, who put on righteousness to save your people! We ask you to stretch forth your righteous arm and bring salvation to this nation. Holy Spirit, raise up your standard of righteousness against the flood of the enemy that has come into this nation of America. Come into our land like a rushing stream driven by the breath of the Almighty and let all our enemies be put to flight.  Thank you for the covenant that you have made with us and future generations who will put their faith in Jesus Christ. We decree Isaiah 59:16-21 (read it out loud) over our lives and land. Raise up your righteous remnant as your standard in the land and route our enemies. In Your Name, Lord Jesus, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 10

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

RESTORING THE CITY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

“See how the faithful city has become a harlot! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her — but now murderers! Your silver has become dross, your choice wine is diluted with water. Your rulers are rebels, companions of thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.  Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: ‘Ah, I will get relief from my foes and avenge myself on my enemies. I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities. I will restore your judges as in days of old, your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.’  Zion will be redeemed with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.” (Isaiah 1:21-27; NIV)

The Lord has sought a righteous remnant to stand before him on behalf of the land so that he will not have to destroy it. Our land is mourning and in turmoil because of abortion, innocent bloodshed, immorality, rebellion, lawlessness and wickedness. We have exchanged the glory of God for worthless idols. This passage could well be addressed to cities in our nation. Thank God for his mercy and grace. He has a redemptive plan. We recognize that our battle is in the heavenly realm against the kingdom of darkness. This passage comes with a redemptive promise of the Lord, Himself, stretching forth His hand against our enemies. He promises to remove the impurities and restore the judges of old. Then, the city will be called the City of Righteousness and Faithfulness!

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Stand before the Lord and repent on behalf of the unfaithful city which has become a harlot. Ask the Lord to forgive and cleanse us, as a nation, for a spirit of prostitution.
  • Repent for abortion, innocent bloodshed, immorality, rebellion, lawlessness, wickedness, robbery, bribery, not defending the fatherless or caring for the widows.
  • Ask the Lord to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness and heal our land.
  • Ask the Lord to remove all unrepentant, rebellious rulers and unrighteous judges from our land in every sphere of influence and authority.
  • Thank the Lord for restoring the judges of old and raising up righteous counselors.
  • Declare, “Our cities and nation will be called the City of Righteousness; the Faithful City.”

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). 70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 9

RESTORING THE FOUNDATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE

“For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.  Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.” (Psalm 94:14-15; NIV)

“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him — the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord — and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.” (Isaiah 11:1-5; NIV)

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.” (Psalm 89:14; NIV)

We can stand before the Lord with confident assurance that He will never leave us or forsake us. We are his people and He is our faithful God. He never makes decisions or judgements by mere appearance. He always judges righteously and with justice. Love and faithfulness go before the Lord!

It is the desire of our Righteous Judge to restore the foundation of His righteousness and justice in this nation. He has raised up a righteous remnant to stand before him for this very purpose.

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Ask the Lord to restore the His foundation of righteousness and justice in this nation.
  • Ask God to forgive us and our nation for every act of injustice and unrighteousness.
  • Thank Him that judgement will again be founded and established upon righteousness in our nation.
  • Declare that the upright in heart will follow Him.
  • Ask the Lord to pour out His seven-fold spirit upon His people.
  • Thank the Lord for his righteous judgments coming forth for the needy, and just decisions for the poor in this country.
  • Thank the Lord that His Word goes forth and stops the wicked in their tracks.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we thank you the very foundation of Your throne is righteousness and justice. We are the people of Your inheritance in the land. We ask You to restore Your foundation of righteousness and justice to this nation of America. Lord, forgive us and those in authority in our nation for every act of injustice and unrighteousness. Lord, raise up righteousness in our land. Let our judgements be founded and established again on Your righteousness. Pour out Your seven-fold Spirit upon us so that our judgments and decisions are based and established in righteousness. We thank you for Your righteous judgments coming forth for the poor and needy. Slay the wicked by the words of your mouth. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11).
