A Series of “Waits” – Part 2
To Wait Longingly

The third word is to “wait longingly”. This word describes when we love Him so much that we will wait, because we are longing for Him. You know He is coming. When Moses had made the tent of meeting, the cloud of God’s Glory would come there and that was Moses’ way of knowing that God wanted to talk to him. All the people would watch, so fascinated by this cloud of Glory. Joshua would go into the tent with Moses, probably because Moses was mentoring him to be a leader some day. Afterward, Moses would leave, but Joshua would stay there. He wasn’t the one being spoken to by God, as far as we know, but he wanted to hang out in the Presence a little longer. The Bible never tells us anything that God said to Joshua in that tent. God’s point in recording this account is to show us that Joshua had become obsessed with a hunger for Him that became insatiable. He no longer waited patiently or with trust. He waited longingly for the Lord.

They say that David was a man after God’s heart. He built a tabernacle or tent next to the palace in Jerusalem to hold the Ark of the Covenant. He broke all the rules when he did that. He wasn’t supposed to put the ark in a tent and go in there. Only the high priests were supposed to do that once a year. However, because he knew God’s heart, God allowed him to be able to “live on the other side of the cross,” so to speak.

David built a table to put the ark on. He built it high enough and wide enough that he could crawl under it. It is said that David would lay there for hours under the ark in God’s Presence. This is the guy that said, “Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere.” It wasn’t just a psalm. He meant that. He was saying, “I would rather live in the Lord’s Presence for one day than in a palace.” David longed for the Lord and for His Presence.

It is sad that there are some spiritual leaders that don’t spend as much as 15 minutes a day in the Presence of the Lord and in worship. They don’t enjoy soaking, listening. They are too busy with the ministry.

“O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.” (Psalm 63:1; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Set aside some time today to sit before Him. Here is some instrumental worship music to help you get into His holy Presence.
  • Position yourself to wait for Him. You may desire to sit, stand, walk around, kneel or lay down.
  • Once He shows up, let Him speak to you. Don’t be the first to speak.
  • Don’t leave until He does.
  • If you struggle with this, ask Him to help you.
  • Intercede for pastors and other Believers who have a hard time spending intimate, quality time with the Lord. Can you imagine how difference the nation would be if we did!

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I long for You. Everything in me desires to be with You. As I put time aside today to seek You, would You come and meet me there. Even if You don’t, yet I will seek You. I will keep going, day by day, until finally that time of precious Presence will alight. Come, Holy Spirit. Come to me. Come and meet me in the secret place. Cause my heart to long for You more and more every day. May I be changed and make others hungry and thirsty for You, even as Moses’ relationship with You made Joshua hungry for You. Sometimes, I can’t get enough of Your Presence. Then, other times I act like I don’t need You. I will never understand this about our human nature. Fix this in me, Jesus. Cause my pastor and my family and friends to long for You like we never have before. Make this our reality. Our children will see it and long for You, too. Our grandchildren will watch us and want You, too. Change us and change our nation. Give us instructions for reaching the harvest around us. Show us how to expand Your Kingdom. Let it begin in the courts of the Lord. Amen.

Today’s decree:

May this nation long for Jesus as Joshua and David did!

400th Anniversary of the First American Legislature

“On this day in 1619, statesmen from the Colony of Virginia gathered in Jamestown as the first deliberative body in what would become the United States of America.  Four hundred years later, the same sense of representative democracy that motivated these statesmen continues to drive our Nation forward and ensures that America is a beacon of hope and opportunity for all.

“Known as ‘the oldest continuous law-making body in the New World,’ the House of Burgesses, now known as the Virginia General Assembly, was formed as a unicameral body of individuals elected by settlements throughout the colony who served alongside people appointed by the Virginia Company of London.  The Burgesses came from a variety of backgrounds—soldiers, clergymen, farmers, and planters. They were united in their cause for a better future for the brave settlers who had crossed the Atlantic for God and Country and for their descendants. From modest beginnings, the first legislative assembly in America would usher in a new era of government that derives its power from the consent of the people.

“Four centuries later, the great American Experiment of democratic principles that began in Jamestown continues to thrive.  From local city councils and State capitols to the halls of Congress, legislative bodies across our country continue to deliberate and represent the will of the people.  Today, we recognize the pioneering and unrelenting spirit of Jamestown, which has shaped the character of our Nation, and we celebrate the abundant blessings of freedom we continue to protect and cherish.

“May God bless the United States of America.” (President Donald J. Trump)

“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord that He has given us a President that honors Him.
  • Bless President Trump for acknowledging God in so much of what he does and in the speeches he presents.
  • Thank the Father that our nation’s governmental structure was founded on biblical principles and that clergy participated, even led the way, in the formation of our government.
  • Intercede for the continued freedom that our representative form of government affords this nation. It has formed the character of the nation and, while imperfect, it is a blessing to the whole earth.
  • Ask the Lord to preserve our government, which includes the consent of the people. It is under serious threat in this generation. Upcoming generations lack even more understanding of government structures, and socialism looks good to them.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, thank You for giving  us a President that openly honors You. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks. He surrounds himself with Your people to advise him. We bless him for honoring Your Name. Thank you for this amazing nation President Trump is currently leading. It really is the greatest nation on earth. Lord, we long for it to remain as a nation that makes You famous in the earth. Forgive us our sin and give us many more years for the Gospel to go forth from these shores. Preserve our representative form of government, which helps to give us the freedom to spread the Gospel message and expand Your Kingdom. Please never let other forms of government, such as socialism, infiltrate our populace and remove the consent of the people. Forgive us when we even entertain such thoughts, for the limitations of the will of the people ultimately mean limitations on Believers. Thank you, Jesus, for this day to remember the blessed and wise governing structure you have given America. Amen.

Today’s decree:

May the government of freedom God has given the United States of America be sustained by Him!

Who Is the Offender? – Offense, Part 6

I think offense is harder to deal with when someone really close to you offends you or takes up an offense because of you. God had to put me through a season of teaching me about offense after I picked up that offense over my friends’ becoming offended at Ceci and me. (Got that? If not, go back and read yesterday’s GH15 article.) I hate it when God takes me to the shed over these things. I hate it, because I feel that at times I have the right to be offended. Sometimes, it feels good to be offended.

Have you ever had a running conversation with yourself for 15, 20, 30 minutes, as if there is another person there, but, really, you are doing all the talking? You might carry on this way either in your mind or in the car or in your empty house? Doesn’t it feel good? Then, you stop and think, “What am I doing? They (who offended me) aren’t hearing this. All I’m doing is getting an upset stomach.”

It happens to all of us. You can’t go through life and not be offended! You can refuse to pick up an offense, but, “scandalons” will come. The bait is going to be offered to you.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • We are going to become so sensitive now to the prompting of the Holy Spirit when opportunities for offense present themselves. Rejoice in your freedom!
  • When you made Jesus Lord of Your life, you gave Him the right to deal with offenses for you. The second the offense comes, hand it over to Him, saying, “This one’s for You, Jesus!”
  • Catch yourself the moment you begin to start talking to yourself about what “that person” did to you or said about you. Bring that thought immediately captive to the Cross.
  • Repent the second you know you have hurt someone. Even if you feel it was justified, find the place of reconciliation as quickly as you are able.
  • Declare, “I will be known as a justice catalyst in my arena of influence.”

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we rejoice in the freedom You are giving us in Christ as we walk through this study on offense together. Look! Thousands of Believers are becoming aware of the power offense has had over our lives. Thousands of us are going to walk free and able to be peacemakers. We will be able to speak into situations where emotion has ruled. Reign in our emotions and let us walk by Your Spirit, instead. Let us see both sides of an issue and understand why our opposition is fighting so desperately. Where battles are “hot” and emotions run high, we will be able to speak wisely and justly, calmly and confidently. Grant us greater favor and influence, even at the highest levels of government in our states and nation. Let it be known that there are those who are able to resist offense and find solutions to the moral, social, and justice issues we face. I am getting excited just thinking about it. This motivates me even more to walk closely to You each day. I can’t change how others act and react, but I can change, as I let You mold me into the image of Your Son who would not pick up any of the bait of offense Satan threw at Him. Thank You for Your example, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The Ekklesia will overcome “scandalon” and become a great force to bring true justice into the nation.

Offense Breeds Offense – Offense, Part 5

Offense comes in many ways. Years ago, Ceci and I went to minister for some friends. These were very dear friends of ours. We stayed in their home and could tell that things there were kind of tense. They were doing their best to put on a good show. When the ministry time was over on the last day, the husband took me out for coffee and told me, “Our marriage is on the rocks and I don’t know if we’re going to make it. Things are horrible. Can you help us?”

Well, we didn’t have a lot of time. We were supposed to leave for the airport in about two hours. I felt almost in a panic wondering what I could do to help these dear friends. I could tell them I would pray for them, but that didn’t seem to be enough. They were in a location where it was going to be hard for them to find help there. So, I knew Ceci and I were going to have to take those two hours and sit down and talk with them very directly before we left. We weren’t going to have three or four weeks to soft coat this, being nice and finally getting to the point. Our preference would be to ease into it, but we knew then that if we were going to help these friends save their marriage with these circumstances, we were just going to need to tell them the truth and hope for the best.

So, we sat them both down and said, “Here is what we see in each of you. This is what you’re doing. This is how you respond. Back and forth. Then, we laid out what each would need to do differently. We “bottom-lined” them for about an hour and a half, and left for the airport.

Well, about a month later, we started hearing back from other friends that they were very offended at us for the way we talked to them. The guy never told his wife that he had asked for us to intervene. She thought we had just butted in and said, “Let us tell you what’s wrong with your marriage.” They came to visit us and that’s where she found out her husband had asked for help. By then, there was this festering wound. They said some really ugly things to us. Now, I got offended, because they were offended! We had tried so hard to say things as gently as we could in the short timeframe we had. We wanted so badly to help them. And, he had asked me for this! So, I picked up an offense, too, and our relationship was not good for a while after that.

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:14-16; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • There is a saying, “Hurt people, hurt people.” Are you a hurt person walking around hurting others? Be honest about this.
  • Some of the emotions that hurt others are: anger, blaming, shouting and verbal abuse, pouting or giving the silent-treatment, controlling what others do, withholding money, sex or other things, slamming, throwing or hitting objects, and ultimately, hitting or threatening to hurt another physically. Take your poison to the cross and repent. Get professional counseling, if need be.
  • If you have ever tried to help someone else, then found yourself the object of their offense, forgive. If possible, go to them and ask for their forgiveness. If they will not see you or forgive you, leave it with God. You are free. (Be careful not to go to someone who is not aware they have offended you. You can cause an offense in that case. Just bring it to the Lord.)

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I do not want to be a hurt person. I have no desire to walk around hurting others, because of undealt with offense. However, that is exactly what I will do, if I do not learn to respond well when offenses come. Thank you for yesterday’s clean-up time. Your examination of my heart needs to be an ongoing thing. I don’t know why I ignore You or even run from You when I am hurting. I guess I think the pain is justified. I want to go further today. I want You to show me how I physically react to offense and in what ways I turn around and hurt others when I am hurt. That cycle of offense needs to end with me, right now. Your grace is sufficient for me, Jesus. I come to the throne of grace to find grace to help in this time of need. I sure don’t like it when others hurt me and I don’t want my actions to hurt others. Accidentally, I am sure I will cause pain, but let’s work on my not being purposeful in that. (Look at the list in point 2 above and let Him begin to teach you how to overcome your toxic patterns of behavior toward others. Do point 3, if possible.) You are truly my Savior and Deliverer, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

Grace to the mountain of offense in Christ’s Church! Every mountain will come down and the ministry of freedom will arise in the land!

Offense’s Downward Spiral into Sin – Offense, Part 4

Cain was punished by God for killing his brother, Abel. God made him a wanderer, but granted Cain’s request to not be killed by those he would wander across. Wouldn’t you think he would be undone by God’s mercy and fall on his face and repent? He did not. He took on a persecution complex instead.

If you are a person that picks up an offense, you will usually go through this progression:

  • You will usually be a wanderer. You go from job to job. You can’t stay in a church very long. You may fall in and out of personal relationships, as well. All of these can be a mark or sign that you are easily offended. If this is you and you can’t seem to find lasting relationships, and stay in one place and build, maybe the reason is because you are easily offended.
  • You may take on a persecution complex. You will think everyone is out to get you. Your life circumstances are always someone else’s fault in your mind. You won’t see that the issue is yours to deal with!
  • You may have anger issues. My own tendency when I feel offended is to get angry.
  • You may not get angry, but feel deeply disappointed instead. Disappointment leads down the same path of rejection and into an ongoing persecution complex.

Regardless of how it manifests in you, you must do something to make sure you do not pick up that bait! If you do, you are trapped. Now, you have an offense. Now, you have sin.

“A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle.’ (Proverbs 18:19; ESV)

“Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.” (Proverbs 19:11; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Invite the Holy Spirit to come and show you where there is deep, even old, undealt-with offense in your life. Be honest before the Lord and with yourself as you read through each of the scenarios below.
  • Do you see any patterns of wandering? Do you have trouble finding a church that fits you? Could it be offense at the root? Have you become offended at a pastor, elder, other member, former friend, or even a family member that didn’t express Christ to you the way you expected?
  • Do you have trouble keeping a job? Do you often get fired or just get tired and move on, always looking for a better fit? Did you ever become offended with a boss or supervisor who you feel treated you poorly? Have you ever felt that another employee was treated better than you? What about regulations or company policies that you may have disagreed with? Did you ever have a Christian employer who was less than godly in your eyes?
  • Now, the really tough one. Did you get offended at a parent or grandparent? You likely have issues with authority. Even if justified, we must forgive to move forward in life. Get professional counseling, if this seems impossible. You can trust God with your circumstances.
  • Is your offense at a sibling? Read Genesis 4 and remind yourself of where this landed Cain. Jealousy and envy are not befitting a child of God. Forgive. Bless and curse not. Drop your “rights” and judgements and live free in Christ! Pray for their salvation, if they need to be born again. Your forgiveness and expressed love toward them may be used to save them from the fires of hell. That’s worth it, right?
  • Knowing how you personally deal with offense will help you participate with the Lord’s healing of your soul. It will also help you stay free of offense in the future. What are your triggers? Do you get angry or disappointed?
  • Worship the One Who sets you free!

A prayer you can pray:

Holy Spirit, I invite you to come and examine my life. Root out any place where the fruit of offense has taken place. [Walk through point 2-5 above, slowly and carefully, letting Him heal and deliver you. Let Him set you free, so you can be a minister of freedom to other captives!] Lord, show me where I am susceptible to taking the bait of offense. Teach me to be alert to my emotional reactions to things, so I can stop and process with You immediately. Make me an instrument of Your peace to help others get free and stay free. The Church is in need of the peacemakers to rise up. The nation is in need of the peacemakers! Let it be Your Church that fills this role. What glory belongs to You! You are so merciful, not to leave us in our offended state! All my life I will tell of Your wonderful ways. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Today’s decree:

Church, live free of offense in Christ! Let God’s peacemakers rise up across this land!

Independence Day 2019

“Melania and I truly appreciate and celebrate America’s independence with those who courageously defend our country — the men, women and families of the United States military. It is because of you that well over 300 million American citizens can live in freedom.

“America is proud of all of the brave men and women who serve in every branch of our great military. We have outstanding representatives of each service, each branch. They’re with us today. We have Army. We have Navy. We have Air Force. We have Marines. We have the Coast Guard.

“Each of you here today represents that rare combination of patriotism, virtue, and courage that our citizens have always — and I mean always — admired and that our enemies have always feared. At this moment, your brothers and sisters in arms are posted around the globe, fighting our enemies and standing watch to protect our nation. They’re fighting for us. We are thanking them, praying for them, and saluting them for their selfless sacrifice.

“There could be no greater privilege than to serve as your Commander-in-Chief. I pledge my unwavering support for you, for your families, and your missions. I will always have your back. I will always, under all circumstances — you’ll be coming back here, and I will always have your back.

“You’re part of a new, and a truly great generation. Two days ago I spoke with Lieutenant Colonel Dick Cole, who served as the co-pilot of the lead B-25 bomber pilot — and piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Doolittle during the daring 1942 raid, after the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Lieutenant Colonel Cole and the rest of the Doolittle Raiders launched their aircraft into the sky knowing that they would not have enough fuel to return to friendly territory. That’s not a good feeling. That’s a lot of courage.

“Our servicemen and women are preserving the legacy of courage and selfless service that they inherited from Lieutenant Colonel Dick Cole and so many others.

“May God bless you all.  May God bless our military.  May God bless forever the United States of America.

Happy Fourth of July.” (President Donald J. Trump)

“Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.” (1 Peter 2:16; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank God for a president who loves, blesses, encourages, and prays for those he oversees as Commander-in-Chief.
  • Pray for men and women in active military service to our country.
  • Intercede for their families, who also pay a price, as they move from place to place, and go long periods of time without seeing their loved one on active duty.
  • Pray for our veterans. Thank the Lord for their service to America in our daily battle to maintain the freedom we enjoy.
  • Ask the Lord to provide better services and access to care for our wounded warriors. Say, “Rise up, brave ones who will advocate and care for the physical, mental and emotional needs of our soldiers!”

A prayer you can pray:

God, bless America! On this Independence Day, bless this great land that we love. Bless President Trump, who clearly loves the country he has dedicated this season of his life to serve. Bless him for his support and encouragement of those who serve in our armed forces. We also support our soldiers. We are so thankful for those who give so much, so we can celebrate Independence Day with our families year after year for over 200 years. God, bless the families of our military members, also. They move frequently, never able to put down roots. They may live far from family and friends. They have to live long periods of time without their service member at home. Military life can be hard at times. Grant them a special grace to find Jesus and the comfort of a church family wherever they go in the world. Minister to those wounded, Father, in body, soul, or mind. Heal them and let them know Your compassion. Raise up those who can care for them and advocate for them. “Rise up, brave ones who will advocate and care for the physical, mental and emotional needs of our soldiers!” These men and women of our armed forces, and our veterans, deserve the best of the best care. They have given so much for us!  Thank you, Jesus, for this day set apart to celebrate America’s birthday! Amen.

Today’s decree:

We bless those brave men and women in the U.S. military who have fought, and work daily, to keep us free!

Resurrection Day 2019

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, ‘Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?’ But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. ‘Don’t be alarmed,’ he said. ‘You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.’”
(Mark 16:1-6; NIV)

Christ the Lord is risen today! Allelujah! Son of God and Son of Man. Great Redeemer, Savior, friend. Jesus! Our deliverer, our comforter, our healer and deliverer. Jesus. When the sun rose that resurrection morning and the tomb was found to be empty, Hope dawned. Life pushed death aside. Humanity would be forever changed. A choice now stood before us all from that day to this—accept the Son or reject Him. God’s Son, God’s Love, God’s plan right from the very first. Before a word was spoken at creation, this moment was planned for sin-filled man.  Redemption, then, on the third day, Victory! Nothing and no one would ever come between God and man ever again. Rejoice in Him and choose Him daily. Over every other thing, over every other one, over every other choice, choose Jesus! Love became yours. Joy has become yours. Peace is yours. As you have freely received, now, freely give. Spread the Good News—Jesus lives!

Today’s decree:

Jesus Christ is risen today! Choose Him!

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 34

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 16: Kentucky, June 1, 1792

There are war strategies that the Lord is releasing in this hour to totally defeat the Amalekite spirit. The apostolic and prophetic gifting are working together to legislate the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. The Lord is placing a fresh mantle of the apostolic and prophetic anointing upon His remnant to war victoriously in this new era. He is releasing revelation that will revolutionize the army of the Lord! We are in the season of the royal decree that saw Haman, the Amalekite, and his ten sons hang from the gallows. The Lord is overthrowing unrighteous governments and establishing the authority of His Kingdom in our lives and land. I hear the sound of the warhorses in the land. We are running to win!

“The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, ‘Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.’ So, Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up — one on one side, one on the other — so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.  Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.’ Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner. He said, ‘For hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord. The Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.’”  (Exodus 17:8-16; NIV)

“But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.’” (Hebrews 1:8-9; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Receive a fresh mantle of the apostolic-prophetic anointing for this new era.
  • Receive the war strategy that the Lord has for you in your designated spheres of influence and authority.
  • Read and decree the above Scriptures.
  • 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Kentucky (Wyandot: “Meadowland”).
  • Statehood: June 1, 1792.
  • Motto: United We Stand, Divided We Fall.
  • Familiar Name: The Bluegrass State.
  • 50-State Tour: The Trumpet Has Sounded – It’s Time to Run With the Horses! (April 19-20, 2004).
  • Decree the Preamble of the State of Kentucky: “We, the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, grateful to Almighty God for the civil, political and religious liberties we enjoy, and invoking the continuance of these blessings, do ordain and establish this Constitution.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, thank you for clothing us with a fresh apostolic – prophetic mantle and anointing in this new era. We come into agreement with your kingdom plans and strategies You are releasing in this hour for our nation and the state of Kentucky. Your revelation bring revolution. We decree with the righteous remnant of Kentucky,

The Lord is activating and accelerating a new ‘shrewd intelligence’ to calculate the movements, strategies and plans of the enemy. To Calculate means ‘to compute, quantify, determine, evaluate, enumerate the intentions, meanings, design, plan and aim of actions to have a particular effect.’ The Lord told me the enemy would weaponize the law to destroy families, society and this nation, but that plan will be destroyed by the new way Revelation is moving. God is pouring out on his people the wisdom of Revelation 13:18 to operate, function and display the shrewd intelligence of Heaven, to STOP the evil agenda against the 50 states of this nation. Heaven has revealed the works of darkness so they may be defeated. Jeremiah 51:20-25 is our template to use in this season and through divine intervention. Heaven is weaponizing Christians in America as God’s war club and battle axe to shatter into pieces these Anti-Christ systems and structures; demonic armies; corrupt governments, orders, decrees and laws; corrupt governors and officials; and the laboring class systems of darkness. The time is NOW to MOVE and ACT by paying attention to legislation, meeting with elected officials, watching the bills they sponsor and their voting record, showing up at the general assembly and praying during bill proposals and legislative voting times. We must show up for worship and prayer at the State capital, government, voting centers and courthouses; showing up and holding accountable school and college boards. God is positioning His people to occupy places of authority on the Government mountain, to build relationships with government officials, pray for/with them and show up at meetings, to be the VOICE OF GOD and bring revival to the Government and this Nation.” (Cordia McLaurin, Kentucky)

You are a fine thoroughbred, Kentucky, a warhorse, who has become a war machine for the Kingdom of God. The state in the Righteous Race, Kentucky, you are running to win for the nation. So, we say, “Run, Kentucky, run! Run the race marked out for you! There are others that will follow you in this race for righteousness!”

Victory over the Amalekite spirit is at hand in the land for Kentucky and for the nation! We decree, “The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until he whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to him.” Kentucky, “You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”  The Lord has placed a righteous scepter in your hand to rule and reign with him. God’s Government is now functioning in your land. We decree over our nation and the state of Kentucky, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.”

There is a new sound rising up out of the ground and there is a sound coming out of the heavenlies…the dance of two camps… the heavenly hoofs and the earthly hoofs running together to win for the Kingdom. We bless the United States of America and the State of Kentucky with the goodly inheritance that the Lord has stored up for you. In the name Jesus Christ, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 24

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 7: Connecticut, January 9, 1788

CHOOSE LIFE AMERICA!

“This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you, life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20; NIV)

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6: NIV)

We are at the crossroads, America! Life and death have been set before our nation! The Lord spoke a very strong word to me when He gave the vision for the 70-Day Decree. He said, “What you do in the next 70 Days will determine the rest of your life.” I knew this was about our personal destiny and about the future of our nation. There is a distinction being made between righteousness and unrighteousness, like never before in history. People will be defined by their choices and their voices during this season. Let us hold fast to Jesus. He is the way, the truth and our life!

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry;… The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:15,17; NIV)

The Lord has rallied His remnant to “choose life” on behalf of our nation and future generations. Thank you for responding to the call to stand during this pivotal time. His promises still stand! He will fulfill His redemptive plan for our nation.

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Choose life, come into agreement with Deuteronomy 30:19-20; John 14:6.
  • Call our nation and the church to respond righteously during this season.
  • 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Connecticut, January 9, 1788.
  • Motto: He Who Transplanted Still Sustains.
  • Familiar Name: The Constitution State.
  • 50 State Tour, Prophetic Word: The State of Favor.
  • Pray and Decree the Preamble of the Constitution of Connecticut. “The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors, hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we stand before you on behalf of this nation and the state of Connecticut acknowledging that you have set before us, life and death, blessings and curses. We choose life, so that we and our children may live and love the Lord our God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. Lord, you are our life. Hear our cry and heal our land. We ask you to give us many years in the land of our inheritance. Let your covenant and generational blessing remain in this nation of America.  Thank you for the promise of your Word, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; … The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Father, we acknowledge and come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for the state of Connecticut. We ask that you plumb line Connecticut in your righteousness. Connecticut, you are carrying a greater mantle of revival than any other state in New England. May the revival fires of awakening, reformation and transformation ignite within you bringing revival to our nation. We call Connecticut to awaken in her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Connecticut, we acknowledge you as “The Constitution State.” Lord, let Connecticut’s motto of “He who transplanted still sustains” manifest within her. Connecticut, may your roots go down deep. May the river of God sustain you.  Lord, reconnect, restore and revive your plan for this state and our nation. We agree with the preamble to the constitution of Connecticut which honors the Lord, “The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors, hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.” Lord, may your good providence continue to rest upon this state. We put a demand on the godly inheritance of Connecticut, “The State of Favor,” to be released and flow throughout our land.  In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 23

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 6: Georgia, January 2, 1788

The Lord is calling you to gain a passion for intercession to see the manifested plan of God for our nation come to pass. The Lord has a redemptive plan for this nation and each of the 50 states.

“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.”
(Ezekiel 22:30-31; NLT)

“The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: In the month of Kislev in the twentieth year, while I was in the citadel of Susa, Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem. They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”  When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.” (Nehemiah 1:1-3; NIV)

Nehemiah was willing to gain a passion for intercession when he heard broken down walls and gates in Jerusalem. For some days he mourned, fasted and prayed before the Lord. God answered Nehemiah’s prayers and gave him favor with the king so that he could answer the call to rebuild and restore the wall. He faced opposition and overcame, because He was a man of prayer who held fast to the Lord His God.

“So, the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.” (Nehemiah 6:15-16; NIV)

The Lord is seeking gap standers for this nation and this state. Are you willing to birth a burden in prayer for each state to see the manifested presence of God come in our land?

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Read Nehemiah chapter 1.
  • Pray portions of Nehemiah’s prayer in Nehemiah 1.
  • 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Georgia, January 2, 1788 (ratified).
  • Motto: Wisdom, Justice and Moderation.
  • Familiar Name: The Peach State.
  • Prophetic Word: “Georgia is one of My Gates; it is a governmental gate.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we acknowledge and come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and the state of Georgia. We ask that you align Georgia in Your righteousness. We call Georgia into the original intent of her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. The Lord declares over you, “Georgia is one of My Gates; a governmental gate.” You are a gatekeeper state authorized to open gates to the Lord and close gates to the enemy. The Lord says you are an open portal – a place of revelation, fresh worship and restoration; a place where healing of racial divisions and strife takes place; where the womb will no longer be hostile to new life (both naturally and spiritually); where new ministries will not just be conceived but brought to full maturity; where sounds of worship will come forth. Take hold of your prophetic destiny and legislate righteousness on behalf of the land. May the godly, three-fold cord of wisdom, justice, and moderation manifest within your borders.  Georgia, you are “The Peach State.” Taste and see that the Lord is good. We declare that you are reconnected to your roots bringing governmental breakthroughs that shape our nation in righteousness. Let the redemptive Sound of Heaven come forth in your land. May our King go up before you and break open the way for you, Georgia. Let the Shout of the King be among you! Lord, rebuild Your wall of righteousness around this nation, and restore the gates of this nation and this governmental gateway state of Georgia. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34).
