ABOUT NAVSEA
"MISSION: We design, build, deliver and maintain ships, submarines and systems reliably, on-time and on-cost for the United States Navy
EXPAND THE ADVANTAGE
For as long as we’ve been a Nation, our Navy has played a key role in protecting the world’s maritime system. Today, traditional and non-traditional forces threaten our safety both at home and abroad. Our technical and tactical advantage over our adversaries is being challenged as technology advances at a rapid pace. Every campaign requires a clearly stated and shared objective and vision. The overarching objective and vision of the NAVSEA Campaign is to expand the U.S. Navy’s maritime advantage over our adversaries through our people, products, and services".
The shipyard was the first place that came to mind when I heard Dutch's call to prayer. But the destruction ofdams with reservoirs providing drinking water and hydropower took priority because of the many who would be affected if harm were done to the dams. Yet the Lord continues to call me to prayer for the shipyard!
As you know, the shipyard is actually located in Kittery, ME which is located on Portsmouth Harbor. The defense work the shipyard is involved with makes them a prime target for terrorism.
Lord, we agree together that You alone are our defense! Our hope is in You and in Your strength is our trust! We have partnered with one another as watchmen on the wall for our state. We ask that You would uncover any wicked plans against Portsmouth Harbor and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Alert those who live in or work there to be aware and more vigilant than usual. We come against the enemy of freedom! We take authority, in the name of Jesus, and decree that no evil shall befall us! Set an angel, Lord, with flaming sword to turn aside any and all who seek to harm us. Arise, O God, and scatter our enemies! We give You great thanks and praise, Lord God!
A team from Maine has also prayed over Portsmouth Harbor and the ship yard. May our prayers align with yours and as we stand in agreement with your prayers! May God Bless you and shelter you under his wings!
