Hello fellow prayer warriors, I'm planning to head out on Thursday, February 1rst to complete a cirlce of the east end of Hampden County. It will include a little bit of Sturbridge in Worcester County and Union in Tolland County, CT as I've been praying for the watersheds in our area and this loop is in the midst of the Quinebaug Watershed. Adding a PDF that has my proposed route with a list of the various ponds, lakes, reservoirs, dams, and dikes - with links to 'Anyplace America' for many of the dams. Also posting a map image that shows in yellow the towns I've been working to circle and (in orange) areas my routes have taken me. Dots are approximate locations of dams. No train lines are in this drive, but there are a number of overpasses and causeways. God's blessings to all, ~Amy

Hello fellow prayer warriors! I've been doing what I call "prayer-drives." I've loaded my mp3 player with the prayers and decrees that Dutch/GH15 have published along with psalms, hymns, scriptures and prayers. I play the recordings as I drive and stop along my route wherever possible with my oil and pray further. Just wanted to let you know that on my prayer-drive earlier this week I drove Rt 19 out of Wales, MA and followed it past the following areas on my way home: Delphi Brook (Wales, MA and Staffordville, CT) Staffordville Reservoir (Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Hydville Pond (Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Furnace Brook (Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Riverside Pond Dam (Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Mill Pond (Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Alden Brook (Monson, MA and Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) Alden Brook Pond (Monson, MA and Staffordville, Tolland County, CT) God's blessings, ~Amy

I also found a link at the CT page for Anyplace America that allowed me to find the "Top Dams in Hampden County: https://www.anyplaceamerica.com/directory/ma/hampden-county-25013/dams/(https://www.anyplaceamerica.com/directory/ma/hampden-county-25013/dams/) I checked my area and the dam sites noted are accurate. Here is the main search page for Massachusetts - there a quite a few ways to research our state waterways: https://www.anyplaceamerica.com/directory/ma/(https://www.anyplaceamerica.com/directory/ma/) God's blessings, ~Amy

Hello fellow prayer warriors, As I live on the MA-CT border it dawned on me that a few of my "prayer drives" are going back and forth over the border as I pray for my local waterways, so this morning I looked up the CT section of this website and found this excellent website link to the National Inventory of Dams (Army Corps of Engineers - https://nid.sec.usace.army.mil/#/)(https://nid.sec.usace.army.mil/#/) from one of the CT members: Massachusetts: https://nid.sec.usace.army.mil/#/dams/search/sy=@stateKey:MA&viewType=map&resultsType=dams&advanced=false&hideList=false&eventSystem=false(https://nid.sec.usace.army.mil/#/dams/search/sy=@stateKey:MA&viewType=map&resultsType=dams&advanced=false&hideList=false&eventSystem=false) I just checked my town of Monson and can happily report that all the dams are noted, even the 'small ones' that are not on many 'paper' maps, google maps, or in atlases and street atlases. If you go to the main page you can choose Massachusetts and on the MA page you can choose a county with the state, then choose the browse option to view the dam information for that county. God's blessings dear prayer warriors, ~Amy

I've been looking for an online resource for those that do not have a 'paper' map, atlas, or street altas of Massachusetts. They are getting rather few and far between. I found this digital map website run by Massachusetts: https://maps.massgis.digital.mass.gov/MassMapper/MassMapper.html(https://maps.massgis.digital.mass.gov/MassMapper/MassMapper.html) It is not 100% accurate as far as pond/lake/reservoir names (Example: one pond/reservoir in my town goes by three different names depending on what map or digital map website you are using!) But! It has some really cool features including costal and marine features, water shed features and other ways to research our state water ways. It does not always identify hydro, town well, or treatment sites that are smaller like the ones in my mill-town area, but it does seem to give you a great visual overview of our ponds, lakes, rivers, brooks, canals and shorelines. Hope this help our prayer warriors that are warring in the Heavenlies from home - God's blessings, ~Amy Almost forgot! You can print/create a PDF map on the website.

Hello all, I'm from Monson, a descendanent of multiple founding families of the Monson, Palmer, Brimfield, Wales, Holland, and Wilbraham-Hampden area. As well as a descendent of William Bradford. I live a few miles away from Conant Brook Dam. Historically a number of my ancestor grandfather's had farms and mills along the waterways in this area. A few of the farms abutted what is now the Brimfield State Forest area that connects with the Conant Brook Dam-Army Corp of Engineers area. The Quaboag River and the Ware River. The waterways of my area have blessed my family for generations. To learn that the enemy is targeting what has been a blessing for so many - well, not happening! Our God reigns! I'll be using the prayer that was suggested/posted, the state motto, and parts of various other Massachusetts historical documents. As well as thanking our Lord for protecting and blessing all those that have come before me, all those that count on those waterways now, and all those that will live and benefit from those waterways in the future. Will be starting with Conant Brook Dam (Vinica Brook flows into the dam and Conant Brook flows out.) in a day or so and will update as I go. If I cannot reach an area I'll be using my Atlas to annoint the area with a drop of oil and pray over it. God's blessings, Amy
