I feel led to share with you some teachings on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was raised Lutheran and this is not something I was taught but I always knew there had to be more and I finally received this amazing gift more than eight years ago. I sense healing is important to you too. Praying in tongues helps- praying the perfect prayer - but also declaring God’s Word out loud because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. When we speak the Word audibly, it gives the angels something to work (Psalm 103) with and sows good seeds into the atmosphere..  Teaching from Barry Bennett - an excellent resource; Charis Bible College teacher. https://youtu.be/Z_pw8Zedl7A?si=yYk1_mjMMuDdO0Yu Baptism of the Holy Spirit (verses I leaned into for this gift) Luke 11:13 (NKJV) “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Acts 2:38-39 (NKJV) 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” John 16:13-14 (NKJV) 13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own [authority,] but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare [it] to you. Romans 8:16 (NKJV) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Luke 24:49 (NKJV) “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Acts 2:4 (NKJV) And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Jude 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [[a]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; …and more You are Healed! By Barry Bennett  When you got born again, you were made the righteousness of God in Christ.  You were blessed with all blessings.  You were seated with Him in heavenly places.  You became a new creation.  You were forgiven, redeemed, justified, and glorified.  And….you were healed.   You felt none of this, but it is all true.  . . . who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Pet. 2:24) The greatest challenge for believers is to believe what was accomplished on the cross.  Especially when it comes to healing.  Righteousness, justification, and forgiveness are all “invisible” things we can “believe” theologically.  But we tend to only approach healing physically.  “If I don’t feel healed, I’m not healed.”  Actually, the power of healing and health is alive in our re-born spirits.  It isn’t a matter of getting God to heal us, but rather a matter of understanding that it is already done and comes “from the inside, out.”  Jesus lives in us now.  His healing is in us.  Our bodies will conform to what we believe.  If you believe you are sick, and won’t believe in healing until you feel better, chances are you will never feel better, or it will take much longer to feel better.  The power of the “new creation” is to spiritually know that we were healed 2,000 years ago.  That revelation will change how you think and talk.  Once you know that you were healed, you begin to resist sickness, speak life, and stand in faith knowing that the spiritual reality is becoming a physical reality.  Those who continue to base their healing on their symptoms and feelings are destined to live in that natural realm, always waiting and never knowing.  Those who know they are healed don’t let symptoms rule their lives.  They choose to live from their re-born spirit.  They recognize the physical and emotional challenges, but they don’t live from those two levels (soul and body).  They live from their spirit, “see” life, speak life and don’t waiver.  The physical victory will come when the heart is convinced of the spiritual reality.  You ARE healed! See also Healing is a Harvest ~ Barry Bennett  And many more teachings.  I encourage you to go to Charis Bible College | Andrew Wommack Ministries and listen to teachings from them. View daily live teaching / sessions. Look at their testimony library. Doing this builds faith for the seemingly impossible. They have a library of free teachings that help others get set free and also understand what we already have.  Andrew’s book - You Already God It - is excellent, as are many others he wrote and available through this ministry. Charisa, I encourage you to use your sword - wield your sword of the spirit - His words - because they are alive and active …and if you don’t have the baptism of the Holy Spirit, learn more and simply receive - it’s life changing.  Be blessed. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Dutch Sheets Ministries. I have a few of DSM books but not related to healing or baptism of the Holy Spirit. He has powerful materials as does his brother Tim Sheets. These are powerful men of God. So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 AMPC Remember,  Nothing, nothing, nothing, NO THING is impossible with God.
