Seven of us went to Tinnemaha Resevoir and declared the Give Him 15 Declarations, blew the shofar, sang , read Psalm 91, and blessed the waters yesterday. This resevoir holds water from all over our valley, the lakes, streams and river. It was bought up by two men back in the early 1900's in a water grab for the Los Angeles area, and caused great controversy. Allegedly the Federal government was involved. Most of our water today is controlled by the L.A.Department of Water and Power. My grandmother was alive here when it happened and she and most of the people here were angry for many years. It once was a land full of orchards, farms and ranches, now it is high dessert. We are in Inyo County of Eastern California. Our time yesterday was very special. I am sure we helped change the atmosphere over our waters.
