I am posting a map of waterways in NC. If you plan to go to these lakes, let the group know.
I'm also posting a link to NC Dams. This will have a link to every county. Click on your county and it will bring up a map of the dams in that county. **Let us know what county's dam's you will cover.
I will post updated maps as people claim the waterways and Dams
Thank you for this excellent resource!
I do not know if I can travel to this Dams that are in my county of Wake but I am going to pray over the list of dams noted on the website. Thank you for posting this.
Another good thing about this is that God is waking us up to find out about our water supply systems which we take for granted!
I am from Wilson County and will go to our individual water supplies here and pray over each one.
I will pray for Haw River and Macintosh Lake Alamance County.
51 dams in Cumberland county https://www.anyplaceamerica.com/directory/nc/cumberland-county-37051/dams/ You can probably find your county at this web site too.
there is a SMALL dam in Mount Pleasant- it is very small, but it is near a water tank for Mt Pleasant and Albemarle. (off Fisher Rd, going north- onto a dirt road this dam or "weir" is down the dirt road)-
Thank you for the information! I have printed off the list of dams in Stanly County to take to my Bible Study Group tonight so that we can get all of them covered!
