Locks & Dams: #6 at Trempealeau, #7 at LaCrescent, and #8 at Genoa. We asked some friends of ours to join us on this prayer assignment and it was powerful to say the least! We prayed the prayers and decrees of protection that were given, the Mississippi prayer, and many scriptures and proyers as the Holy Spirit prompted. At each site we used anointing oil to announce to the spiritual realm that we are setting apart the dam and the river that is under our watch, and stating our authority over it as ones who live nearby. "This is our land!" We prayed for the lockmasters, every worker at the dams as well as every crew member on barges that will go through the dams: that each would rise up in wisdom and in the knowledge of God--that the knowledge of God would flow as mighty as the waters. We prayed that Lacrosse (known for alcohol excess) would be a TRUE watering hole for the Lord. At #6 we anointed the L&D sign and one person saw (in her mind's eye) a mighty angel archer stepping from bluff to bluff, with an arrow pulled back in a bow, aimed at the dam. She also "saw" numerous fires along the shoreline. She felt these all pointed to angel and Holy Spirit presence of protection. We climbed to a vistor's platform and felt we had a new revelation of what it was like to be "watchmen on the wall." At #7 we anointed a snowball and threw it into the frozen river. We decreed that drop of oil will impact the waters for God's Kingdom and draw many to Him.Someone received the sense that our prayers are being "held" (as the surface water is also "held" as ice) and established, to be released when the time is right. We saw eagles (for real!) watching and waiting, and felt like they were also a prophetic sign. A guard is established here . And finally, at #8, we anointed 2 flag poles that were present as we said prayers and made decrees over what each flag stood for: United States, POW, Maritime. We prayed against flooding (that is prevalent here) and that the Mississippi would serve all of creation as it was designed. We felt like the Lord is sending blessing down like rain, drawing many to Him! As we reflected on our prayer time driving home, we understood at a deeper level the vital importance of water and bridges as they serve to connect: people with people, people with opportunity, people with resources, both in the natural and supernatural. This assignment was amazing and we are changed because of it!

This is BEAUTIFUL!!! We need to get together as we are in the same area! We did Lock and Dams 1-7 (not in that order). I love the significant prayers the Lord led you to pray.
