My sister Katherine and I began our prayer journey on January 26. Expecting driving rain, high winds and rough surf off we went to take our stand on the wall. Nothing would deter us from our assignment. We drove out to Fort Pickens on Santa Rosa Island and went as far as we could possibly drive expecting the worst weather. But it turned out to be so pleasant--no rain, no high winds and a very calm surf. Hiking onto the beach we followed the shoreline until we came to the Pensacola Pass. There we prayed and decreed for God's protection over our waterway(s) in the Pensacola, Gulf Breeze region. The Pass leads out into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The Pass also leads into the Escambia Bay/Intercoastal Waterway. It connects the Gulf of Mexico to Pensacola Bay, the Navy base and the Port of Penscola.
While praying and decreeing we brought with us several moringa branches which we tossed into the Pass. Every part of the moringa tree has healing properties . As a prophetic act we asked Holy Spirt to bring healing to the waters to wherever they flowed. Next we went to the cross set up on Pensacola Beach and read our prayers and decrees there.
Finally, unable to get into the Port of Pensacola, we went to the end of Palafox Pier which is right beside the waters of the Port in downtown Pensacola and made our decrees. As we were praying and decreeing we asked Holy Spirit to stir the waters over our region once again and as we were praying great big swells of water rolled toward us--the swells kept getting bigger and bigger. We half expected to see a large ship causing the waves. Nope. It was just a confirmation to us that God is hearing the prayers of His people and will soon be pouring out His Presence on all flesh. To God be the glory!
One final note, we planned to go to the Naval Aviation Station but ran out of time. This is where in 2019 a terriost attack occured on the base killing 3 sailors and injuring 8 others. This Navy base is a prime target for terroriats. My sister and I will not make it down to the base until around the 11th of February. So, if some intercessors could pray on site at NAS, please do so. God bless you all who are participating in these awesome prayer assignments.
