Patoka Lake (a large lake used for recreational purposes), and the Ohio River ( which wraps around the southern part of the state are both major water courses, as are reserviors in Monroe County (Bloomington)
We come before You, Father and ask Your divine protection for these waterways and the tributaries which flow from them. In these sometimes remote areas, we decree and declare before You, LORD, Your Sovereignty over Your creation, the animals and birds (especially Bald Eagles) and people - for safety, watchfulness and Your will to be done against any nefarious actions in our water regions. No weapons formed against us will prosper, and You are Sovereign over us. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ we pray - thank Father for hearing and acting to fulfill Your will - Amen!
Indiana’s waterways, like Patoka Lake, the Ohio River, and the reservoirs in Monroe County, are not only vital for recreation and natural beauty but also for the rich biodiversity they support, including the iconic Bald Eagles. It’s inspiring to see prayers for their protection and acknowledgment of their importance to the state’s ecosystem. These sentiments align beautifully with the broader themes of cherishing life and creation. For those reflecting on the passage of time and the interconnectedness of life, the weeks of life poster serves as a meaningful reminder of the value of stewardship over such treasures.
