A friend and I prayed: 1) According to the Preamble of the Texas constitution, Texas humbly invokes the blessings of Almighty God in creating the constitution. Thus, He is the Lord of Texas and we asked for his governance and protection; 2) We prayed the provided prayers and decrees; 3) We read Psalm 91 out loud as a prayer and declaration.
Granger Dam was made by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The man-made lake it created is a beautiful and peaceful place. Through God's grace and mercy, may this hidden gem remain so.
