Again today my job brought me to the shore of the Puget Sound where I prayed Psalm 91 over all the things associated with it that need protection—including the ferry system.

Once again, my job route took me right next to a waterway. I prayed appropriate portions of Psalm 91 over the dam, bridges, critical infrastructure and businesses along the Green River/Duwamish River.

I share this longer narrative to show more confirmation that God is clearly in this work of us praying for waterways and infrastructure. Yesterday, Saturday, I made sure I had anointing oil with me on my way to work just in case I would have the chance to stop briefly by a waterway or related infrastructure. I had only about half the number of boxes to deliver in my usual area of the smaller cities north of Seattle. I was looking forward to getting home early, but my supervisor called and had me take some boxes from another driver. When I looked at the addresses in my mapping software, I saw that my route would take me down very close to Lake Union. I told God, "You're gonna have to get me a parking place right next to the water so I can be quick and not interrupt my work time." Finding such in that area requires a miracle. Looking at the order of stops, I decided to reverse it. On my way to the last drop, the mapping software looped me back right next to the water by a public dock almost directly under the Highway 99 bridge. There was an open parking spot at the top of the ramp. As I backed into the slot the road remained clear of traffic in both directions. I looked for a piece of wood to pour anointing oil on and float on the water as I prayed. All the bits near the ramp where I parked were soggy. I heard Holy Spirit tell me to look on the other side of the road, where I found an ideal piece that was perfectly dry.

Closely related to our waterways are the roads--many of them major interstate freeways--that cross those waterways on bridges, and in some cases on dams. Destroying any one of these--especially interstate--bridges could have devastating long-term effects on the entire region. This website lists many of the roads that cross the Columbia river in the Pacific Northwest. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_crossings_of_the_Columbia_River(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_crossings_of_the_Columbia_River)

Today, my job took me right past the Ballard Locks. So I stopped for a few moments to pray and then anointed the end of a piece of metal that points out over the waterway there.

I took a quick break from my job along the southwest shoreline of Lake Washington today to pray for that waterway. While the lake is mostly bordered by private homes, two major freeways cross it, and its waters flow past a lot of marine industries around Lake Union and the ship canal, then through Ballard Locks, and out into Puget Sound. As I walked to the water's edge, I scanned the ground thinking it would be great to find a cross-shaped piece of wood to anoint and toss onto the lake's surface. But my eyes were drawn to a piece of tree bark whose underside was scored by worms. I heard Holy Spirit say those channels represented waterways and that I should pour oil onto them and throw the bark into the water. After doing that, I prayed in tongues over the lake and connected warers.

Lord, we thank You for the main artery of the Columbia River, running 1,243 miles through the Pacific Northwest from British Columbia, Canada, through Washington, and forming most of Oregon's northern border (and its drainage basin covering nearly all of Idaho, Montana west of the Continental Divide, and small portions of Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada). In the name of Jesus, we ask that angels protect everything regarding this river and its tributary system. We bind all attempts to obstruct the agricultural and other commercial items it carries. We decree that no destruction shall come to its flood control structures, pumping systems, and locks, and that no attempts at cyber disruption of hydro-electric systems, nuclear facilities, or the computer networks that regulate shipping traffic will succeed. We declare Ezekiel 32:14, that the waters of the Columbia run deep and smooth like oil, that all along its banks it is blessed, and all of its ports are prosperous.
